A Week Packed with NFL Football Fun!

Weekdays:

• Monday - I had a Dr Apt. Maci and Connor did Training Haus together. Connor had night 1 of football practice.
• Tuesday - Maci & Connor had a 6 month dental cleaning. Connor then went to some open gym for basketball. Maci had her 1st soccer practice of the new season. Connor wrapped the day with more football practice.
• Wednesday - We took the day off and had an awesome day!!  We met up with my friend from high school, Rachelle, and her family at the Vikings vs Ravens joint practice.  Her husband, Jesse, is now the head coach of the Ravens.  She got us field passes so we could watch the practice and then get autographs afterward.  It was so cool!  Connor got so many autographs: Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, JJ McCarthy, Andrew VanGinkle, Coach Kevin O'Connell, Xavier Flowers etc.  Afterward, Connor and Maci went to Training Haus to work off that high HA!  That night, Connor had to go to football while Clint and I went to the lawn bowling fundraiser for my non-profit, eQuality.  We teamed up with the Janko's and won the entire thing! I love a good trophy :)

• Thursday - Maci had another soccer practice, Connor had the ortho and then Maci and I went to her Middle School open house/pictures while Connor had football pictures.  We then all crashed and Clint did one of his fantasy drafts.

Friday:

• Connor had open gym in the morning for basketball 
• Around 3p, Rachelle and her family plus my buddy PJ came over to see our house, eat some pizza and hang for a bit before they had more meetings.

Saturday:

• Up and at 'em - we got a walk in and then got ready for the Vikings vs Ravens pre-season game.
• Again we got to go on the field (our kids are spoiled for life) - we took some pics before game and then had great seats on the 50 yard line visitor side.
• We were able to cheer the Ravens to victory.
• We gave our big hugs goodbye and we were off in our own directions.
• Maci had a soccer scrimmage at Prior Lake High School.  They beat the team 4-0 and it felt great to get back in the action again!

Sunday:

• A nice slow Sunday morning followed by a productive afternoon.
• At 6p I sent Clint and Connor off to downtown for Connor's 1st concert!!!  Tim McGraw with openers Lady A and The Chicks.  HE LOVED IT!!!
• Clint really enjoyed it too, especially seeing how in to it Connor was.
• The concert was at Target Field and it was a gorgeous night + Connor got to hear what he calls the "skydiving song" = Aka live like you were dying. :)

Family Annual Cabin Weekend

Weekdays:

• Monday - Maci had day 1 of a volleyball camp which had her pals Harper and Isla in attendance.  Connor did some training haus.  We wrapped our day with the "Welcome to TFE" start of the season call on our deck.
• Tuesday - Another day of volleyball camp for Maci. Followed by a nice quiet evening.
• Wednesday - Maci had her last day of volleyball camp, Connor did some training haus and I wrapped my day by enjoying Happy Hour with my dear friend/colleague Nicole.
• Thursday - We had the day off to get ready for our annual cabin weekend!!!  I took one call in the morning and then we were off to the Fike's to meet everyone and start the 2.5 hour trek to Grandview :) We had some Canes for lunch, did all sorts of fun stuff once we checked in and then enjoyed an easy dinner on the property that night.

Friday: Another day of cabin fun!  The kids are playing so well together.  I took a long walk with Jacey while the guys golfed.  Then we took the kids into town for some shopping and lunch. We came back for naps for the moms and the kids went swimming - so independent! Shortly after our naps, Vinny arrived!  We headed over to Zorbaz for dinner, music, drinks and some sand volleyball. A super fun night!

Saturday: Started the day with another long walk then the dads and kids road a pontoon boat while the moms laid around. We had a nice lunch as the sun came out at the Mexican place on the resort.  The kids did a lot of swimming as we hung out.  That night the adults went to Bar Harbor for dinner while the kids had frozen pizza, played bingo and did more swimming.  What a fun break!

Sunday: Woke up and started to pack, we were all on the road by 10a and looking forward to the next annual trip!  We sure missed Gena who couldn't come this year due to her recent back surgery but know she will be back at it next year!  Once home, we got laundry rolling.  I had a nail apt at 3p and then Clint had a football coach clinic while I took Connor to his 3v3 matches.
