Friday was bonus payout day so I got myself a new Mac book Pro Laptop!!! We needed a new personal computer for some time and we decided against the standard desktop this time around since it is so nice to be able to move around the house. I debated a lot the last few weeks on Mac (spending but syncs with all our Ipads and iPhones) or PC (cheaper but a lot slower). After lots of feedback, we went Mac and I am quite excited! Let's just say blogging is so much quicker and enjoyable with this puppy! We then walked around the mall a bit before coming home in time for Maci's bedtime. Little Maci had a surprise for us though as she got ready for bed she made a few crawls towards me, she is going to be flying soon!!!
Clint got up early Saturday to do a bike ride and well Mommy & Maci got some needed beauty rest! HAHA
Clint and I later got ready around 2p for a wedding of one of my co-workers, Zach. Maci had Megan (a referral through my friend Lisa) babysit her and was all smiles when we left. However, we think Maci has hit some "stranger danger" territory as she cried almost the entire night for poor Megan. I text back and forth with the sitter most of the night and our crazy night out without kiddo ended at a crazy 10p :-( But, we were super happy to get home to our lady and see she was finally asleep and peaceful in her crib.
Today were Maci's 6 Month Professional photos! We are using the same company as her newborns so we are quite excited to see how they turn out. We will leave some surprises but lets just say we stupidly ended with the NFL shots so only Clint's team made it into the pictures and the Bengals are going to have to pray for the playoffs so they can hopefully make it into her 1 year photos! All in all, Maci was a great little girl for one straight hour of photos and about 4-5 outfit changes - you know I cant leave her in just one!!! :) While at the photo shoot, Maci did another amazing thing - this kid can now go from crawling into sitting up, just like that. The photographer said the same thing about Maci as does anyone who is around babies often, "that little girl is so strong, she may be walking in a month or so" YIKES but in the shoot she did sit, crawl, crawl into sitting and attempt to stand up at least 2 times - we have lots of fun ahead of us I am sure! We will be sure to share with you the photo link once they are ready!
We ended the afternoon with some errands and since Maci is sitting so great lately and was DONE with the car seat for the day - we let her sit in the grocery cart - check out our cheerful little shopper!
After grocery shopping and errand running, we practiced more sitting in her room and Maci just loves having only a diaper on - crazy girl!
We ended the night and the weekend with a trip to the dog park for old Boomer. Maci loved watching all the dogs from up on top daddy in the Bjorn. Boomer did the typical pokey little puppy and wandered around the park for the full 30 mins we were there - goofy dog!
