More Halloween Fun & Fall Family Pictures

Mon -

• I had a dentist apt after work and all went well until the Dentist noticed a cavity in the X-Ray - UGH!  Now I go back for a filling this Monday BOO!

Tues - 

• I was in an all day meeting with my North America Leadership Team - we have been doing a large global reorganization which North America is currently working through - we are almost complete and they gave me the sweetest card and spa gift card as a thank you for all my support through the last few months - the card and kind words were the best part :)

Wed - 

• Connor had show & tell - cartoon toy and decided to take a McDonald's toy from Incredibles - he sure does love that movie :)
• Maci had gymnastics in the evening which was the end of session 1- she sure loves it!

Thurs - 

• M got her school pictures back and well she is gorgeous - I know I may be partial but seriously where are the awkward childhood photos?!?!  Like my kindergarten wonder :)

• My dear friend Rachelle from high school had to bury her mother on Thursday - my heart is heavy for her to be mid 30s and both parents having passed from awful diseases - cancer for her father and alzheimer's for her mother - XOXO Rachie

Fri - 

• I worked from home thanks to a fairly clear schedule
• Connor was a turd for his teachers - they sent me the picture below with the caption "I thought it would be funny to dump out all the toys and watch my teachers pick them up" STINKER
• Maci rode the bus home - something she has been begging to do for a while
• We cooked some potato soup in the crock pot - Yummy!
• After dinner, Maci was off to her Girl Scout Halloween Party
• Clint and I watched the Comedy "Tag" - funny/cute movie

Sat - 

Maci learned how to take pictures with my phone HA

• Started the morning with Dance and Maci's annual Halloween party with dance friends

• Grabbed some lunch at Ham's
• Came home for naps
• Dressed for family pictures and headed downtown - this year's back drop is the industrial area known as Mill City and the Mississippi River

• Kids sucked at times throughout the pictures but we got it done and it wasn't 90 degrees this year but also not 20 :)
• Afterward, we ran to Target for their promised rewards - Connor chose a dart/nerf gun (so it begins) and Maci chose some LOL dolls
• We ate a yummy dinner at Sunshine Factory

 We also enjoyed our reward!!  HA

• We were supposed to go to our friend Lisa Sodahl's Birthday/Halloween Party but our kids were crashing hard and it had already been such a busy day so we headed home - Hope it was a great birthday & a wonderful party Lisa!!!
• Kids were in bed by 7p - WAHOO!!
• Clint and I rented 2 movies - 1 was creepy (Quiet Places) and the other was a romantic comedy (Bridget Jones' Baby)
• We were still all in bed by 1030p - wild Saturday!

Sun - 

• Church/Sunday School
• M had a play date at her daycare pal Isla's house from 12p-330p

• I enjoyed a (too tight for comfort) Bengal W

• Clint enjoyed the Dolphins having already lost on Thursday so mowed grass/leaves and bullshited with our neighbor Nate

Our crew is getting excited for Trick Or Treating this week with our neighbor pals the Harty's!  Tena and I are attempting to find the BEST cocktail for the evening affair.  I sent her this one a little bit ago

Halloween Fun Begins!

Monday -

• Kids had a flu shot apt after school and work - a few tears but in and out and the kids live to tell another day!

Tuesday - 

• Megan (best co-worker ever!!) had her last day at Cargill
• We had a happy hour in her honor after work - sure will miss that lil one

Wednesday -

• 10a, 1st time I popped up to tell Megan something and realized she doesn't work here anymore - tear
• Connor had show and tell - needed to bring something related to a fairytale - brings one of Maci's fairy - he was so proud
• Clint and I headed out of work to hit Maci's fall kindergarten conference - so far so good
• Family headed to gymnastics
• Mom had an Asia call at night before the 4 day weekend could begin

Thursday -

• 1st day of a 4 day weekend thanks to Minnesota wide teacher in service days
• Connor went to school - Maci hung with us
• We got license/tags renewed and lots of yard work done before also taking a trip to the playground hot tub water emptying 

Friday - 

• Let Connor also stay home today
• Other errands accomplished but also hit up Incredibles 2 at the movie theatre as a family 
• Caught up on some emails and photo shopped my new work head shots

Saturday -

• No dance due to MEA weekend from schools (so many go out of town)
• Clint went with Brandon (friend from work) duck hunting early in the morning
• We got a new microwave installed over the stove as the panel on our original one went out a few weeks ago 
• Clint brought home lunch and we got a lot done around the house
• Maci and I went to get pedicures and her nails painted - Maci picked green with awesome sparkles (to match her Tinkerbell costume of course) 
• Afterward, we headed to one of our favorite annual traditions - Westwood Nature Halloween
• Ran into the Cassem family there!
• Everyone came home tuckered out so kids went straight to bed and adults watched the end of the awful OSU game in the hot tub

Sunday - 

• Last day of an awesomely long weekend!
• No Sunday school because of MEA
• Invited Alivia and Hattie over from the neighborhood to play dolls - they played from 1245-315p
• Connor took a good nap
• I picked up groceries and have been doing a long list of remaining weekend to dos before the night Bengals game
• Clint watched another painful Dolphins game
• I will be doing week/work prep until Bengals kick off in a few hours!!  Please let me go to bed happy :)
