Memorial Day Weekend!

Monday -

• Clint worked from home while Tyler (local handyman) fixed up some of our deck boards in prep for this summer's exterior painting 
• Maci had her first soccer game at night - we had to change fields due to a lot of rain and poor field conditions.  Where she ended up playing hadn't been mowed so the ball was SUPER SLOW MOVING 

Tuesday - 

• Pouring Rain!  
• Connor didn't get to have dad take him to T-Ball (Hopefully next week!)
• I had a hair apt after work - ah fresh color and cut!

Wednesday - 

• Maci should have had soccer but it was cancelled for weather - this is getting old!
• Clint took Connor to gymnastics while M and I came home and hung out

Thursday - 

• I went to Maci's school for Artists and Tea where I got to see so much of her art work for the year - can't believe we have less than 2 weeks left
• I then worked from home and Clint came home around lunch to get his Golden tee repaired and took the rest of the day off 
• At 430p I headed out to meet Lauren (a former Cargill manager) for happy hour - always great catching up!!

Friday - 

• I worked from home again just to have a highly productive day!!!
• Clint brought the kiddos home a little earlier than usual and we ate followed by a trip to the park!
• YAY LONG WEEKENDS!!

Saturday - 

• Maci went to a neighbor girl's 7th birthday around 11a
• After the party, our whole fam headed to the Harty's across the street for the first dip in the pool - a little chilly out but thankfully they have heated water!
• A color consultant came by our house at 2p to help us land on our final colors for the exterior of our home
• At 6p we headed out for date night with our mommy and me friends - dinner and drinks at a few different locals

Sunday - 

• The best weather day!!!  Gorgeous 76 and sunny!!!  We spent almost the whole day at the Harty's house swimming.
• We left for our dinner and some ice cream.
• After kids were in bed, we came back over for drinks/fire/fun - we chatted until about 130a and then all crashed hard!!!

Monday - 

• Happy memorial day!!!
• We are a wet soggy mess here :( but probably ok because we needed a day to get things back in order around the house, prep for the week and get some rest!!!
• Thank you to all the military personnel for your service!

Summer Sports Fun Begins!!

Monday :

• Clint left to IL for a 3 day work trip
• I worked from home in order to juggle a late day call that I was presenting on and picking up the kids in time for Maci's first soccer game
• During one of my calls, I drove to school to pick up M, got her dressed in her gear and then had her play on an iPad until my call was over.  We then grabbed Connor from school and headed to the fields - I was so proud that we got there with 5 mins to spare!!  SUPER MOM!
• Maci was so excited to be back in the action with outdoor soccer!

Tuesday : 

• Clint is still in IL
• I had a busy day at work but got out just in time to grab kids
• Connor had his first t-ball practice which we were running late for 
• I helped him with some grounders and then they started to run the bases.  Unfortunately for Connor he didn't see another friend running towards him and they knocked heads pretty good.  After quite a few tears and some swelling I finally got him to drink some water and head back out to hit off the tee.  Thank goodness he LOVES batting so he got back into it and ended the practice saying he "Loved Baseball!"

Wednesday : 

• Clint landed back from IL around 3p 
• We had to divide and conquer family fun this evening
• Maci and Clint went to her 2nd soccer practice and Connor and I hit up gymnastics
• Afterward, we met up at Sunshine Factory for a yummy dinner on a gorgeous night!

Thursday : 

• No plans after work and school!!!
• After bedtime for kids, Clint had his neighborhood buddies over for Golden Tee in the basement
• While they played I got some more budget items done for work 

Friday : 

• Clint took the day off to spread mulch, get another paint quote for the exterior of our home, touch up paint inside and get the AC serviced for the summer.
• I headed into a very quiet office!  Productivity!
• After work, I met my former co-worker and friend Brenda at Redstone for dinner, cocktails and catch up
• The kids and Clint played at the park while I was gone
• Once home, we started to watch some TV on the couch and I fell asleep on Clint within minutes - what a fast week!

Saturday : 

• After a gorgeous week of weather, the weekend turned UGLY - Rain and cold all weekend!
• Clint grabbed an early haircut and some coffees
• I got M ready for her last dance class of the year
• We enjoyed a final dance class, ran some errands and then hung around the house
• After dinner, Clint had John (former neighbor) over for some cocktails and pool

Sunday : 

• Lazy rainy Sunday
• Clint picked up groceries while I finished laundry
• Clint and Connor watched the Spiderman movie while Maci and I finished her last weekend of homework - less than 3 more weeks of school left!!
• I ran us a few errands and grabbed lunch while Connor napped
• I am about to start some work, Clint is going to be running M to a girl scout meeting at 630p and hopefully Connor will play quietly so I can get some weekly prep complete.

We are hopeful for better weather to return and are excited for a week with the whole crew back in town!!  We hope you are all enjoying the turn of the seasons as well :)

Mom Birthday and Mothers Day Fun!!!

Monday -

• I had a dentist apt at 6p after work and thankfully heard NO cavities - yay!

Tuesday - 

• Happy 36th Birthday to Me!  
• I had a fairly busy day at work but left in time to meet my crew for Benihana dinner and to enjoy some sun.
• Clint gave me an anniversary band for my wedding ring set for my birthday, mothers day and anniversary - so pretty!!

Wednesday - 

• I took Connor to gymnastics while Clint hung at home with Maci 

Thursday - 

• Long day at work with a product monthly business review running from 10a-6p but lots of good learning
• Nothing too notable at home in the evening

Friday - 

• Maci's school had a mom spa day at her school from 815-900a which consisted of nail painting, massages, book reading and necklace making with our kindergartners - so cute!
• Poor M had a hard time saying bye when I had to leave and head to work 
• I ended my day with a beer and sending some emails before meeting the crew at home for pizza
• The plan was to go to the Harty's for a fire and drinks but while Clint was at the liquor store, I made the mistake of laying on the bed and next thing I know, I was out for the night!  Clint still went and then played golden tee with Nate while I lamely slept HA

Saturday - 

• I woke up and took a nice 3 mile walk with Tena and had some coffee
• Finally woke Clint and Connor up to be ready for the painter quote - we need to get our exterior and deck painted this spring/summer
• After the quote, we headed to one of Maci's last dance classes for the season
• After dance we were supposed to go to Wilson (former neighbor) 3rd birthday party but poor guy came down with a tummy bug
• Instead we ran to home depot and home for some naps
• We then got things done around the house before getting ready for a night out with Trip and Lori
• We went to dinner and then to watch a Led Zeppelin cover band - fun times!

Sunday - 

• Happy Mother's Day!
• My crew let me sleep - AHHH!!!!
• We then put away groceries and had breakfast before playing outside with neighbors
• We went to Chipotle for lunch and then I took a nap while Clint spread fresh sand on the paver patio 
• After getting up, we took a long family walk before cooking steaks on the grill (Thanks Christie!!) and heading to Cherry Berry for ice cream
• Now we are winding down, I am about to take a bath and watch a show on my phone, kids are in their baths before we are going to paint nails on the deck and Clint is going to watch his game of thrones.
