• I went to work to help make sandwiches for homeless 
• I then headed out of the office to take a 12-7p workshop from home - darn CA time zone :)
• While I did my workshop, Clint took M to religion class along with C man

Thurs

• I got my flu shot at work for our health fair
• Headed home around 2p to finish my day from there due to a Vikings game that had all the parking lots raising rates to $40 around our area
• Enjoyed some cocktails and watching the game with Clint and neighbor guys

Daycare Fun

Fall Leaf Fun!

Fri

• WFH Friday for me!
• Met up with Becky and Brandon from Cargill finance for lunch
• Around 4p I headed to Jake's for Lauren's happy hour - more Cargill friend fun!
• Clint was super dad and took kids to gymnastics solo
• We met up at Noodles afterward for dinner
• Put kids down and met up with Tena/Nate across the street for fire/drinks

Sat

• M and I did soccer while Clint and C took Boomer for grooming 
• We watched the buckeyes before Clint did leaves and I did household chores 
• After a pizza dinner, we had family movie night with all of us watching Casper followed by Clint and I watching Rocket Man

Sun

• Mass - felt good to be back 
• Bengals Football - HAHA
• During football I got the house cleaned, M homework done for the week and Clint mowed the lawn.
• Now we are preparing for the week until C & I have a sitter for a nice Sunday night dinner just the 2 of us around 6p

Special Days for C & M!

Monday :

• No school for Connor - Teacher Education Day
• Clint took the day off to spend it with Connor man
• They got Connor's flu shot in the morning followed by brunch at Chicken place and a day of MOA rides and legos

Tuesday : 

• Pretty standard Tuesday for us Mondell's

Wednesday : 

• Another pretty standard easy does it Wednesday for our crew
• No religion class due to state wide MEA on Thurs/Fri - AKA teacher in service and kids off school

Thursday : 

• I worked from home since it was my Friday for the week
• Connor enjoyed soccer shots at daycare
• M had her first day off school but went to her home base camp for the whole day - enjoyed a dance party with a DJ and hula hoop contest

Friday : 

• Maci and I were both off and now our turn for some fun!!
• We started with her flu shot followed by Target shopping, Chipotle lunch and Children's museum exploration - such a fun day with my girl!
• We picked up Connor and headed to gymnastics after all our fun
• Clint met us and then we had some Burger King for dinner - healthy! HA
• Headed home and all crashed - kids decided to have a slumber party in M's room!!

Saturday : 

• Clint is using the gorgeous weather as a final chance to finish some much needed yard work + hot tub water change out (2x per year)
• I ran M to soccer solo
• I got all the laundry put away, bills paid and house cleaned while Clint got leaves and outdoor stuff taken care of
• We decided to treat our fam to a Benihana dinner around 6p
• We all had a blast and then crashed again afterward - 830p LAME but ahh the rest felt so good after some crazy work weeks!!

Sunday : 

• Another gorgeous day and another day with Clint outside from sunrise to sunset - well more like 930a :)
• We got the water back in the tub today and now we are heating it and shocking it back up to the right chemical level
• Clint tore out some weedy looking bushes and is relaying rock under our deck near the hot tub
• I ordered groceries, planned meals, ordered Thanksgiving meal and Christmas Cards HAHA and now I am watching the sad and slow Bengals game
• We plan to do household stuff the rest of the day and just enjoy our time before work and school kicks back off again tomorrow

Clint has a quick work trip this week but other than that a fairly normal week ahead for our crew!

The Week of Visitors & Oktoberfest

Monday :

• Connor and I started listening to his Spanish audio clips on the drive to school

Tuesday : 

• My co-worker Kate was in town from Chicago which was a nice treat!
• She came to our house for dinner and the kids loved entertaining her

Wednesday:

• I was feeling really behind on work so I went into the office at 630a to get rolling
• At 9a I got a call that turned my entire day and week upside down, one of our MN based employees committed suicide Tuesday night.  The family was open with us sharing the reason for death to use it as a way to help others - HR, legal, leaders all rallied together and planned for how to share the news, how to ensure his family was taken care of etc.  It was an emotional day for sure.
• My cousin John was in town for work and even though I was exhausted, drained and drastically behind on work, I kept our plans to meet up because this moment made me realize just how much you need to live for the day and see your loved ones.  It was so great to have dinner and catch up with John.
• Clint took care of getting M to and from religion class and then played some golden tee with John while I headed to bed.

Thursday - 

• I worked from home due to a Trump rally tying up all of downtown
• Clint worked a 1/2 day and went golfing with a neighbor at Medina - got to fit it in before the bad weather comes for good
• I hosted a happy hour at our house of some of my fav former co-workers at Cargill - another reminder of how blessed I am and the work will be there the next day - so many good laughs!

Friday : 

• Another work from home day for me and trying like crazy to get caught up
• Ran to get the kids around 430p for gymnastics fun and Clint met us there
• We headed to El Azteca for dinner again - yum!
• Went home and had family movie night - the new Aladdin but M crashed on the couch early

Saturday : 

• M had soccer and the whole fam went
• Grabbed some lunch then headed home for "to dos" around the house
• The weather sure took a turn and it is about 30 to 40 outside BRRRR
• Clint and I got ready to head to the Verplank's Oktoberfest and Mara came to watch the kids
• We had fun catching up with our former neighbors and some of our summer cabin/camping friends

Sunday :

• We had a good sleep in day which was needed for so many of us!
• Clint and M went to get donuts for breakfast 
• We are now all watching football and getting ready for the week 
• Tyce just picked up M and C to play outside even though BRRR - but they are kids and have coats 

We hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing Sunday!  We have a fun week ahead with Connor's daycare closed tomorrow so Clint is taking the day with him and then Maci has no school Thurs-Fri but she will go to homebase on Thursday and then hang with me as I am taking the day off Friday!
