Dr Appointments, Happy Hour and Fun Weekend!

1st Birthday Party @ Chuckie Cheese
Feeling Lots Better!

This week was a week of Dr check ups for Miss M.  She had her annual hip check on Monday with daddy and they look so good that they don't want to see her for two more years!  On Tuesday, Clint and I took her to her 4 year annual check up with the Dr - she was quite the trooper through 3 shots but now she is set until middle school since these shots were what she needed for kindergarten.  Maci loved her band aids so she was over the pain in no time and we got some frozen yogurt which made it all better too :)  I then took her on Thursday to a 2nd round hearing screening for St Louis Park school district since she failed on one ear the last time.  They think she may have had a cold with some fluid on her ear because she passed at the 4 year check up and then passed with flying colors at the re-screen.  Thankfully we should be Dr free for a while again now - she is such a healthy, happy, 4 year old little lady!

This was also a week of Happy Hours!  Wednesday night I met up with some of my fav co-workers/former co-workers for happy hour.  Jason has been at Target for about 4 years now and Megan is my partner in crime through the Finance transformation.  We always have so much fun meeting back up and talking about former comp days, our kiddos and random other nonsense :)  Great time and can't wait until April when we meet up again!
Thursday night Clint and I both had a happy hour for our co-worker Danny who completed his MBA.  Congrats DK!!  Clint was kind and headed early to get the kids so I could stay a little longer with my former compensation pals for a good catch up.

Friday - WAHOO!!!  Best day of the work week!  It was PJ day at school for the kiddos because Costume Kim was coming in her PJs.

Ms Sammy was the Mystery Reader!!
DON'T TELL MACI - I am the mystery reader in mid March ๐Ÿ’˜๐Ÿ’˜
I picked up the kids a little late for a Friday but I was in such a good rhythm at work and got things to a good place where I feel NO need to work this weekend - WAHOO!!  Clint ordered pizza and we caught up on Scandal episodes while Connor slept and Maci played with beads in her room.  Lovely low key Friday night.

Saturday - We had the usual dance class and Connor LOVED watching the big girls work on their routines in the other rooms.  We had no plans the rest of the day so Clint voted from my family fun ideas and we were off to lunch and Mall of America after Connor took a brief nap at home.  We went to the Crayola Color Experience inside MOA and it was SO CUTE!  I am so glad we paid the extra $30 to have an annual pass for our family.  Who doesn't love to color?!  The kids were emerged in this place for at least 3 hours. . . so fun!  We then did a few rides - 2 to be exact in 1 hour time frame - way too crowded for rides!!  Followed rides with a little shopping and some dinner at Shake Shack YUM!  We got home a little after 7p, just in time for Connor to play a bit and then head to bed.  Maci played a bit longer but we got everyone down by 9p since the adults were also wiped out from the fun day and lots of walking!

Sunday - We had a super productive morning!  I have already finished laundry, ran to the grocery, had bagel breakfast and completed a Costco run before noon.  The kids now took an afternoon bath, Connor is napping and M is watching iPad.  Clint and I are pondering a nap.  Ahh what a lovely lazy Sunday!  We also need to rest up before our good friends Trip and Lori come over for the Super Bowl game tonight.  Have I mentioned how much I love weekends?!

We hope everyone enjoys the big game and may the Bengals be in it one day!!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
