This week flew by with Clint in Missouri for about 36 hours. In addition, poor Connor had an upset stomach throughout the week - GO AWAY BUG! Maci had her dance photos on Thursday night and is still twirling around the house like a princess :) Our week's fly by but we really wouldn't have it any other way. Clint and I talked about that a bit over my birthday dinner with each other on Saturday night. As hectic and stressful as life can be at times, we sure are blessed and live the good life!

Friday - I hit up happy hour after work with some of my favorite tax people from Cargill. It was such a gorgeous night so we sat on the patio of McCormick's in downtown Wayzata near lake Minnetonka. It was fun to catch up. I headed home and Clint/I ordered a late Rojo dinner in honor of Cinco de Mayo via Bite Squad. While we waited for our food, we hung outside by the fire pit - love this time of year!Saturday - Birthday weekend fun begins! Clint let me sleep in without the kiddos bugging me. I then headed off to enjoy my birthday present of a massage and facial while Clint wrangled the kiddos at Maci's last t-ball lesson. What an amazing way to spend my Saturday morning! :) Afterward, we grabbed some lunch as a family and then relaxed around the house/watched the horses run until we had to get ready for our dinner date. Amanda from next door came over to watch the kiddos while we enjoyed a steak dinner at Six Smith on Lake Minnetonka - such a pretty night! Loved having some cocktails and adult convo with my hubby!
Yes Please!
Not our Best Pictures but We Tried
We picked up Amanda some booze to say thanks for watching the kiddos and then headed home to 3 episodes of Scandal that we were behind on. What a lovely Saturday evening with my best guy!
Sunday - Official Birthday Sunday Funday! Again Clint let me sleep in to the wonderful 8a :) We then got ready and headed to Bruegger for some breakfast before hitting up Como Zoo for a wonderful morning/early afternoon with my family of 4. The kids loved the Zoo and the Rides. Connor napped in the stroller while Maci played at a playground in the park. What a wonderfully gorgeous day and company! After getting home around 2p, I have been doing some of my usual laundry, ordered grocery online and got some random to dos done around the house. Clint and Maci are doing a Costco run while Connor takes a LONG nap! We will figure out dinner and dessert soon before finishing up preparations for the week ahead.

Zoo Fun!
Ride Time!
Send Clint positive vibes as I head to NJ for work Tues-Thurs of this week. I pray for him that all stay healthy and behave because it is hard work having those two alone when things go well, let alone when you have hiccups. I am look forward to a slightly different schedule this week and travels with my best pal at work, Megan. We hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
