- Started the day with some snowy roads and cold temps
- M had a 2 hour delay for school so Clint hung with her and took Connor in to school around the time she got on the bus
- I worked from home to avoid a crazy commute downtown with rough roads and traffic everywhere
- In the afternoon we got the call from the school district that they were closing Tues-Wed in anticipation of BITTERLY cold temps (-25 without any wind chill UGH!)
Tuesday -
- Mom's office closes due to temps but needs to work from home
- Connor goes to daycare and makes slime HA
- Maci has no school, hangs with dad while I work until he heads to the airport at 1p for his St Louis Trip
- Maci and I head to her 6 year old well check at 330p - M is super healthy, smart and right about 50% for both height and weight
Wednesday -
- Clint is enjoying 30 degrees in St Louis
- Mom is at home again due to office being closed with AWFUL temps and almost cries walking the trash can to the end of the driveway b/c it is so COLD
- Maci is off school but goes to a 9a-5p day camp at her gymnastics center - her favorite part was packing a home lunch HAHA
- We chill at home and stay warm since Gymnastics classes were cancelled at night for the both of them
Thursday -
- Ugh office closed again for temps and Maci school closed again!!! Losing our minds, missing warmth, routine and scenery outside of our house!
- M goes to day camp at the gymnastics center again
- Connor has daycare per usual - thankfully it would take the end of the world for them to close!!
The Boys
Friday -
- Finally back to normal - kind of - all along I was going to work from home on Friday b/c Maci is star of the week and I was heading into school at 10a to read so easy to do the back and forth from home vs downtown. However after 4 earlier days at home I am starting to lose it here HAHA!!!
- Maci heads back to school normal time - YES! She enjoys a day of being spoiled as star of the week and gets to have mom not only read 3 books but join her for lunch with her pals :) Maci told me "you are a GREAT reader mom!" I was a celebrity for about an hour - IS THAT YOUR MOM MACI?! 💜
- Connor goes to daycare and gets spoiled by his former daycare director visiting him at his new school! Look how happy he is! Thanks for visiting Maggie!
- After school/work, Mom got to head to ladies night thanks to Ryan Cassem (Natalie's dad) - Clint is still out of town and my girlfriends wanted to get together for a little shopping and dinner/drinks. I didn't have time to find a sitter but Ryan knew I needed out of the house so he offered to watch my kiddos and Natalie/Stella - what a guy?!
- I bought 3 tops, enjoyed a margarita, queso and shrimp tacos before heading home with my crew!
Saturday
- Maci was exhausted from a busy but different week so we skipped dance so she could lay around and watch a movie
- We then headed to Target to buy a few birthday presents since Maci is Ms popular and had 2 parties in one day. We also picked up each of them some new shoes - feet are growing like weeds!
- Maci then headed to her pal Natalie's 6th birthday where she got to paint, build pizzas and be a girly girl.
- After this party ended, Connor and I chauffeured her to Tanyn's 6th birthday party! At this party she got to make fairy gardens, put on makeup, hit a pinata and enjoy more pizza/ice cream.
- I picked her up at 6p and Clint grabbed us dinner on his way home from the airport - YAY he is home!!!
- We all enjoyed dinner, ordered groceries online for Sunday pickup, put the kids to bed post baths and enjoyed a night in the hot tub (now that temps were in the 40s!)

- GO GO GO - We were running around the house attempting to get all the weekend errands done in 1 day and before Super Bowl enjoyment
- Maci's initial boxes of cookies were dropped at our house - get ready the sales pitches are coming!!
- The kids played outside in the morning with the Harty Boys across the street (legit they are boys and their last name is Harty HA) and then they all came in our house to watch iPad until about lunch
- Connor just got up from nap, I am finishing my to do list and Clint is getting snacks ready for the big game in about an hour
