- Girl Scout cookie sales are officially over and I cant Clint and I couldn't wait for this day - holy Hannah!!
- I am still rocking my morning Peloton rides and man do they make me feel great starting the day!
Tuesday :
- Clint has been an all-star dad this week as I have been working a bit late to get us ready to enjoy a 5-day spring break vacation! I left downtown around 8p and ate buffalo tenders and ice cream for dinner HAHA
Wednesday :
- At 6a, I got online to sign Connor up for T-Ball and Soccer this summer/fall and Maci for fall soccer once her summer session ends
- I felt like crazy super mom tonight: I left work again around 8p, spoke to a colleague on my drive home, bought the kids sandals at Target while on the phone and then got home to pack the kids followed by more work - finally called it a night and went to bed around 1230a
Thursday :
- We got up at 430a but I was running on adrenaline and the excitement of spring break!!
- Before we boarded our 9a flight, Clint and I stopped for a cocktail AHH Nice!
- Kids had their best flights ever!!!
- After two flights and an hour drive in the rental car, we were at the condo and on the beach by 4p!!
- That night we ate some yummy Mexican food and dip n dots!!
- We kicked off the day with a trip to the Waffle House - Yum!
- We then headed to the Gulf Shore zoo where we heard some LOUD birds, watched a monkey suck his thumb and pet Kangaroos/held a baby one!!
- We then went to the beach for an awesome afternoon of sun, sand, and fun!
- Unfortunately, I burnt my legs badly (stupid spray sunscreen!)
- We took late naps but that messed up dinner timing so we ended up at McDonalds HA
- On the way to dinner, Maci was being a total turd so Clint verbally laid into her before driving in silence. When we got to McDonald's Clint says "Dad can you be nice to Maci now?" As Clint smiled and got out of the car, Connor leans over to Maci and says "Maci, I will be your friend" It was so heartwarming, we almost forgot what a turd she had been!
- We started the day by gathering seashells on the beach - Maci LOVES it!
- Afterward, we went to a crazy donut shop where Clint had fried chicken on his donut and I had a sausage/egg/cheez whiz on a donut!!!
- We then headed to the oceanfront for our Dolphin Cruise!!
- It was so flipping cool and each of us at least saw 10 dolphins swimming near our boat!
- We then grabbed a quick Subway lunch and naps
- After naps, we went swimming in the pool at the condo but it was NOT heated and was ice cold - I have no clue how Connor kept swimming in it while Maci and I headed to the beach for more sand fun!
- We headed to Lulu's for dinner which is a restaurant owned by Jimmy Buffet's sister and had so much fun stuff for the kids

Sunday : - Happy 41st Birthday to Clint!!!!
- Unfortunately, this was the one cold and rainy day of our trip BOO
- We went to breakfast at Woodside restaurant and it was YUMMY!!!
- Afterward, we took the kids to "The Factory" which is a really fun indoor trampoline park!! I even had a blast jumping!!
- We then came home for naps and basketball watching
- Post naps, we headed to the movies to watch the 3rd how to train your dragon - what a cute movie and movie series if you haven't seen them!!
- We ended Clint's birthday and our vacation with another Mexican restaurant.
- Now the kids are in bed, we are finishing our Coronas and packing thanks to a 430a wake-up time (again!)
