- Long Rainy Day!
- Maci had her 2nd to last soccer game of the spring/summer season and we thought it would be cancelled with rain but they went on anyway and it was a sloppy kind of cold game but then the sun came out afterward!

Tuesday :
- Clint headed out of town early in the morning for a work trip.
- I had another busy day and grabbed the kiddos just in time from their respective day care/camp locations :)
Wednesday :
- Maci had her final soccer game of this season and she played awesome! I am so proud of how much she improves each season. Even more proud of her remarks after the game - "mom, I try to let my teammates score too because they want to feel happy after a goal too!" GO GIRL!
- It was also a scorcher out there with a heat wave rolling through the twin cities!
- I had a long/late night of getting many work to dos complete so I wouldn't worry about open items during our long weekend up north! Yay for feeling ready!

Thursday :
- After work/school, I grabbed the kids, finished packing for the cabin weekend, started to load the car.
- Clint landed from him trip at 7p and got home via Uber around 8p.
- No sooner did Clint arrive that we hopped in the car and started driving for Alexandria MN! YAY Annual Cabin weekend!
- We arrived around 10p and thankfully the kids were all up past their bedtimes to welcome our kids.
- We put kids to bed and enjoyed some adult cocktails before calling it a night around 1230a.

Friday :
- Happy 66th birthday momma!
- We woke up enjoyed some cereal / bagels while the guys were out golfing.
- The ladies took the kids swimming before coming home to trade with the dads!
- Our afternoon consisted of spa treatments - a nice facial and massage is what awaited us!
- After the spa, we stopped by the deck bar for a cocktail and then headed back to the cabin to get the whole group moving for Zorbaz pizza!!! YUM!!
- We ended the evening with a typical FUNNY round of Cards Against Humanity with pals!

Saturday :
- Up and at 'em - girls headed on a walk while guys played with kids at the pool. Some took naps all in prep for lunch before our rented boat ride.
- At 130p we headed for our boat rental and were crossing our fingers for no rain! Fortunately we had no rain and the sun came out in full force half way through. We ended up extending our rental by 2 hours and came in at 630p!!
- We had a blast from caterpillars at the sand bar to jumping off the boat near the "young kid hangout" it was one for the records!
- We had a quick dinner at the Dock Bar and then made some s'mores before our overly tired kiddos headed to bed post baths.
- We played the newlywed type game but I crashed around midnight as I was DEAD from sun, fun and a few too many afternoon cocktails!

Sunday :
- Boo pack up day!
- We cleaned up the cabin and got loaded while a thunderstorm rolled through.
- After getting all packed up we all headed to the indoor waterpark for some family fun before leaving!
- We sang to Rowen - Happy 4th Birthday Buddy! and enjoyed dairy queen ice cream cake.
- Around noon we changed all the kiddos and hit the road - SO MUCH FUN!!!
- We pulled up to our house around 230p after stopping for lunch on the way home at Subway.
- This afternoon has been full of grocery, laundry, unpacking, cleaning, prepping for the week.
- Our kiddos are now in bed, I am about to take a walk before calling it a night as well!

Yay for short weeks! We have another one coming up with the 4th of July!!! Clint and I are both taking Friday off and Clint is also taking a 1/2 day for some golf on Wednesday - YAY Sweet Summer Time!!
