Schools Out for Summer + Nanny and Grandpa are Here!!!

Monday :

• Maci had a soccer practice in the evening
• We followed it with a high class dinner at Applebee's a Maci special!

Tuesday : 

• Happy Birthday to my Sister, Meghan!
• Maci had a field trip to the Sculpture garden and said the cherry on the spoon was her favorite but she also noted that one little boy got in trouble for touching a sculpture in "private places" Oh My Kindergartners!
• Connor was to have t-ball at night but darn rain rolled in - Clint has yet to make it to a session! Bummer!

Wednesday : 

• Maci had a soccer game in the evening and we were snacks - a big deal for the kindergartners
• Maci scored a goal and had quite a few assists but it was another rough go for her team
• At least it was a lovely evening to be outside

Thursday : 

• THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!
• Clint took so many pictures of Maci getting on the bus while I ran Connor to daycare and into work early 
• I facilitated a training before driving home to meet M when she got off the bus!
• Tena across the street kindly took M to the neighborhood last day of school park celebration while I finished my remaining calls/emails
• Around dinner the Mondell's pulled into town - they are helping us out as M has a gap in care between Friday and next Tuesday before her summer program starts!
• After dinner we took Nanny and Grandpa to the "big" park behind our house and showed off - so much showing off!

Friday : 

• M stayed home with Nanny and Grandpa while Connor headed to daycare and I got a great jump on the day in the office!
• Grandpa had a fun filled Maci day by taking her to the dentist, lunch, errands, movie at home, park etc.  He learned how much energy M has!
• After getting home, we enjoyed Taco Pizza and watched the NBA finals before calling it an evening.

Saturday : 

• Such a nice, warm June Day!!
• Maci and I started the day with a run/walk around the hood while Clint took him and Connor for boys haircuts.
• Post run, M and I went to get bagels for the whole crew.
• We played outside a ton before heading to the Harty's pool across the street around 130p.
• It was so warm even the adults were in the pool this time!!
• We wrapped up the fun around 430p so we could get ready for an adult night out - John's 40th birthday party!  John is a dad from the mommy and me friend group.
• It was so nice to have family sitters in town for once!!!
• We started at Tony Jaros and then headed to Betty Dangers for dinner!  Most of the guys were pretty zapped from golf/drinks/sun so we called it a night around 1030p - I was ready for a good night rest!!

Sunday : 

• I met Chris D (former Cargill co-worker) for coffee and catch up while the rest of the crew chilled at home
• After coffee, we headed to Maci's soccer clinic and she was able to put 3 in the net for her adoring grandparents!
• We had some lunch at Sunshine Factory before making it home to do laundry, grocery pick up and Connor's nap.
• The Mondell's (Kathy, Clint, Jack) are at Black Sheep pizza right now and C just got up from his nap.
• I am gonna take a night walk with my neighbor pal Tena before attempting to do some work/week prep while the Mondell's watch the NBA finals and the kids do baths/bed.
