Monday :

• Maci and Mom went to the movies to see Lion King and then hit up Target for some back to school clothes shopping
• Connor had fun playing outside at school
• Clint and I worked HA
• After dinner, mom and I took a nice walk

Tuesday : 

• Mom and Maci went to Como Zoo and waited out some rain but enjoyed a good visit
• Connor had Costume Kim
• While Clint and I took a walk, Mom and the kids watched the spy kids movie at home on the couch

Wednesday :

• Mom and Maci spent the day around the house riding bikes and hitting up the local parks
• Connor enjoyed Spanish class trial at daycare

Thursday : 

• Mom and Maci hit up Elm Creek Park - Maci called it the MOA outdoor park 
• Connor enjoyed soccer shots at daycare 
• After bed time, Mom, Clint and I enjoyed another episode of our fav show "Mindhunters" we got mom into it and now we are watching 2 episodes a night

Friday :

• Mom and Maci hung around home again after a breakfast at the "chicken place" and Maci played with Clara in the neighborhood most of the day 
• I ventured into the office for a first time in a while on a Friday as our CEO of UHG was stopping by and we had an employee happy hour to entice Friday afternoon presence 
• Our family enjoyed Taco Pizza and playing outside
• After bed time, mom crashed and Clint/I joined the Harty's for a fire and some cocktails

Saturday : 

• Clint ran to get a haircut and errands while mom, Connor, Maci and I headed to her soccer
• Maci hustled per usual and then we headed home for some more errands and laundry before running M back out for her back to school haircut
• After her haircut, my mom and I dropped off M and Clint worked in the yard while she swam with the Harty's and Connor napped - mom and I headed out for a pedicure
• Post pedicures it was time to get ready for our night out sans kiddos
• Liz came at 5p to watch the kids and Clint, mom and I were out for a night at the Fair and wrapped up the fun at Inn Ka Hoots for 1 last beer

Sunday : 

• Up and at 'em for church at 1030a - attempting to get back into our fall/school year routine little by little
• Everyone looked so nice that we had an impromptu photo shoot
• After church, we ran home for a quick lunch and then off to Urban Air for Maci's girl scout fun day 
• Mom and I dropped her and headed for an errand at Hy-Vee, while there grabbed the kids some new vikings gear (when in MN)
• Got back home and put Connor down for nap before sending Clint to pick up M 
• We have pulled pork in the crock pot, M and the neighbor boys are playing hide and seek outside, C is napping, mom, Clint and I are enjoying the deck while also getting things prepared for the week

Yay for 4 more days with mom in MN, back to school events later this week and a long holiday weekend around the bend!!!  We hope you all are having a great end of summer like our crew!

1st Official Slumber Party for M & Grandma Comes!!!

Monday -

• Great start to the week - my new hire in Las Vegas joined and she is going to be an awesome addition to the team!!!

Tuesday - 

• I had a chair massage for free at work today, wahoo!!
• I also met my pal Brittany (1st MN Cargill pal) for happy hour downtown.
• Nate came over for golden tee and I wrapped up the night hanging with the boys

Wednesday -

• Connor made a super cute hand print friendship tree
• I got some upcoming happy hours on the books for after school starts with good friends
• Clint got some golf scheduled before it gets too late into Fall 

Thursday - 

• I participated in yoga on the patio before leaving work for the day 
• Clint had Nate over for golden tee before he flies to join the fam in Kansas City for the weekend

Friday - 

• Maci's last day of summer program!!  She was sad to say bye to some kids that go to other schools this year and teachers who only worked the summer program.
• I worked from home and had to pick M up early since the session ended early on the last day (4p)
• After picking her up, I ran her to Isla (long time daycare friend) house for her first official slumber party!!!  They went to the beach, ate pizza on the beach, colored, watched a movie and slept like good girls - so fun for M!!
• While M was gone, Clint, C and I went to the big park, ate taco pizza and took a long walk without one of our key people - felt so strange
• After C was down we started a new Netflix Show - Mindhunter, so good!!!

Saturday - 

• We picked up M around 9a so we could get to soccer
• Maci hustled her rear off at soccer and complained about sweat on the way to Country Daze
• Post soccer we ran the kids quick to Corcoran Country Daze - neighboring city but we didn't stay too long even though awesome free stuff for kids but NO food
• Once we were all dying for lunch we left to Oak Eatery - Yum!
• We then headed home for me to clean my closet, Clint to do grass and ultimately some family quiet time
• Once Clint was done, M and I took a bike ride - so fun and then put them all down for bed so Clint and I could watch 3 more episodes of Mindhunter

Sunday - 

• Lots of household to dos this morning!  Grandma gets here in about an hour!!!!!
• Clint and I cleaned the house and the kids chilled with Sunday cartoons
• M is now ready for her pal Sally's 7th birthday party 2-4p
• C is ready to head to the airport with Clint and I get Grandma at 230p
• This afternoon we plan to take a walk with Grandma, order groceries once we know what meals she is planning for us (YUM!!) and eat dinner out!
• We are all so excited for Grandma to get here and hang with us for almost 2 whole weeks!!!!
