Connor's Buddy "reading" Books
Tuesday :
- National Night Out after Work and School! We headed up and back with the Harty crew to the event at our neighborhood playground.
- We met a new family that moved in a month ago and they also have a 1st grade girl and then 3.5 year old twins (boy and girl), we also met a few other new neighbors with some kiddos - such a fun night having cocktails, Popsicles and bounce house/firefighter fun with new and old friends in the 'hood!

Wednesday :
- In the morning Clint took Connor to a kindergarten assessment through the state even though he has 2 years before he goes - all went well but some issues on the hearing test (same thing happened with Maci).
- While they were at Connor's school, I took Maci to her school for her reading assessment with her likely 1st grade teacher, Ms Sheldon. Maci really liked her and enjoyed the site word challenge.
- After work I drove like a bat out of hell from downtown to Connor and then ultimately Maci for an ice ball truck at her daycare.
- Fortunately I got there about 5 mins late but the truck was still there and the 3 of us enjoyed some snow cones before heading home to dad and a yummy dinner.
- Another awesome night to play outside before bed!
- After kids were in bed, I had a video chat with my Cincy 6 girlfriends! Always nice to catch up.
Thursday :
- After work, I headed to my hair apt - yay fresh hair!
- Clint took Maci to Connor's daycare summer party before heading home and playing with the Harty's.
- I met up with them at home around 8p right before all were in bed.
Friday :
- I worked from home and had a whole lot of visitors at the house.
- 1st the lawn fertilizer guy came by, 2nd the window washers came to do the inside and outside of our windows and finally the mediacom Internet guy came to change out our modem. Thankfully all of this was going on in the background while I was able to get work done and prep for another packed full week ahead.
- After a pizza dinner and bedtime for the kids, Clint and I headed over for fire and cocktails at the Harty house.
Saturday :
- Maci started her new competitive soccer training (Skillbuilder) with Alchemy and she did great! We are so proud of how this chick just takes on new challenges in stride!
- Afterward, I went on a run/walk and took all the neighborhood kids with me. Unfortunately it started to rain on us but we had fun laughing at the playground in the wetness.
- Our family then had a wonderful family nap time which was so needed after too late of a bedtime the night before!
- I then got up and around before Clint and I had date night at Bourbon and Brick and Pittsburgh Blue.

Sunday :
- A nice lazy day at home! Clint has been doing yard work, I have finished laundry/groceries etc and Maci has played with Clara while Connor plays solo.
- Connor is now borrowing a "big boy" bike with training wheels from the Harty's and he feels pretty cool.
- Maci has totally concurred her new bigger big girl bike!
- I ordered Clint and I some helmets and we may go on a family bike ride a little later this afternoon after he finishes yard work and Connor takes a nap.
- Sun just came out and I am about to lay outside and do some reading - love these lazy days!
