Clint Plays Medina CC

Mon - Thurs

• Pretty low key week activity wise for our crew
• I had a crazy busy week at work and Clint has been studying for a training certification at work

Friday 

• I worked from home and got a good amount of work done as well as the laundry
• Maci had her annual Grizzly Dash at school - she said it was so fun with a DJ this year
• Grabbed the kiddos for gymnastics and met Clint there
• After gym we had some LeeAnn Chin for dinner
• Got the kids to bed and hit up the Harty's for a fire and drinks!

Saturday

• Maci was back at soccer and kicking some major booty!  That girl is fierce
• I was there with both kids since Clint was going to play 18 at Medina CC with our neighbor Ben, social members
• Connor didn't let me get much reading done nor watching of Maci but it was fun to kick around with him
• Afterward we came home and they headed outside to play with the neighbor boys while I cleaned and did stuff around the house
• Once Clint got home we kept doing stuff around the house but headed to Sunshine Factory around 630p for dinner and the beginning of the OSU game
• Kids got home exhausted and crashed
• I also passed out on the couch within minutes of sitting down

Sunday 

• Mass at 1030a - such a nice homily - made me smile
• Grabbed some lunch and headed home for football and household to dos
• We are now watching the Vikings (Bengals play tomorrow night YIKES), I am prepping for our week, Maci is at the boys house and Connor is snacking with me while Clint picks up some dinner - lovely fall Sunday!

I head to SF for work tomorrow late afternoon through Thursday at lunch.  Prayers for safe travel and for Clint to run daddy + mommy duty.  We hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

Clint in SC & Family Pictures!

Monday :

• Clint left at like 330a for his flight to SC - Yuck!
• I took the kids to their 6 month dentist apts - no cavities but already talk of M's braces!
• Dropped kids at their schools, grabbed some food and headed home to a busy day of work
• Worked from home and left around 5p to grab my kiddos and have a fun night of reading and hanging out with them

Tuesday : 

• Clint still out of town 
• Back downtown for work and kids had normal days at school
• Got them home and then had to do some more work at night in front of the TV

Wednesday : 

• Maci had her 2nd week of Religion Class and Clint didn't land until 9p
• This meant I left work around 430p, grabbed both kids, hit up Noodles for dinner, dropped M off and did work at the Starbucks while Connor watched my phone, picked back up M after class to head home for bed time - TIRED!

Thursday : 

• Clint is back home!!!
• He drove Connor to school so I could get down to work at a good time
• Had a productive day and then headed home to help with dinner/kids
• Around 8p I headed out to Lone Spur to have a post kid bedtime happy hour with Megan and John (former co-workers) so fun to catch up!!!

Friday : 

• WFH!  Had a productive day both personally (laundry/passport renewal dropped at post office) and work related (meetings and lots of clean up)
• Left to grab kids around 445p for their Gymnastics classes
• Met Clint at the gym and afterward we headed to Applebees as a family for dinner

Saturday : 

• Had to skip soccer because we had family outdoor photos planned for 11a.  Our photographer called and we decided to move up to 1030a due to anticipated rain.  We got them in and kids were great, I am a little nervous about my hair as the MOISTURE was out and strong in the air.  But the kids looked awesome and did great and that is really who people care about in pictures anyway :)
• Came home for play time at the house and chores/errands/college football
• Around 530p we headed to Medina annual celebration where we enjoyed some food, bingo and kids dancing fun!
• We left before fireworks as kids and adults were exhausted!
• Clint and I enjoyed cocktails, couch and college football.  I fell asleep until the last 5 mins of his Toledo game - they won but holy cow it was 130a!

Our Saturday night with cocktails/couch/college football 

Sunday : 

• Had some breakfast and then got ready for mass
• Connor was awesome at mass and M was so/so 
• Afterward we grabbed lunch and rushed home for the big NFL football Sunday
• Bengals looked like CRAP fist half but rebounded in second half and at least kept it interesting!
• Clint got yard work done and I got family prep for the week complete.
• Now kids are relaxing, Clint and I are watching afternoon games and I am getting ready to do some work clean up/reading.

Festival Fun!

Monday :

• Just a normal Monday 

Tuesday : 

• Just a normal Tuesday 

Wednesday : 

• Maci and I headed to her religion class kick off for the year.  I was actually on time for once so she and I enjoyed a McDonald's dinner before heading to mass followed by orientation.  It was a really nice night for the 2 of us solo!

Thursday : 

• After work, I met up with my former co-workers/friends Megan and Brenda at Redstone - we had some yummy food and cocktails plus lots of laughs
• Once I got home, kids were heading to bed and I decided to join them after an exhausting week on the work front - Clint enjoyed the Thursday night football game

Friday : 

• I did my usual work from home but had my annual physical in the morning - all seems good!
• After work, I grabbed the kids and met Clint at gymnastics 
• After gym, we headed to St Bart's for the church festival.  The kids loved the bounce houses, DJ and face painting
• After we got home, we put the kids to bed and joined the Harty's for a fire

Saturday : 

• M had soccer in the morning and I took her while Clint and Connor got haircuts
• We then did some to dos around the house before heading to Loretto fest with the Harty family around 330p
• We lasted on bounces and rides until around 5p 
• Headed home and got ready for date night with Clint
• Kaitlin came to watch the kids and Clint and I enjoyed a YUMMY dinner at River Inn, Twins Win and drinks at Stanchion and post Twins game we played some darts.  We got home around 11p and crashed!

Sunday : 

• Had a lazy morning before mass and enjoyed a great homily today 
• We watched the UGLY Bengals game - sad loss for Bengals, Dolphins and Vikings BOO!
• The newer neighbors (Shane and Sarah) invited many of us over for some swimming (82 degrees today) - Clint and I took the kids over and I stayed until Connor was done - M is still there!!!  Their youngest son Hudson is her age and in the classroom adjacent to her.  They also have a middle schooler Max and Freshman Wes.
• Clint is now cutting grass, Connor is on the iPad, M is swimming and I am about to do some week prep.  We plan to eat dinner, take a family walk and then do baths/bed as we are all pretty exhausted.

Labor Day & Back to School!!!

Monday :

• Labor Day fun!  Got some stuff done around the house before heading over to the Harty's for some swimming.
• Did a family walk before starting our new back to school routine with 730 bath/in bed and 8p lights out

• 1st Day Back to School - Yay!!!
• I got back into my morning work out routine, got us all up and moving and enjoyed the bus stop with the neighborhood.
• Maci had a great day!
• I had a video call with my high school girlfriends at night.

• Another great day!  Routine is in motion!
• After bed time, I met up with a former co-worker Erin for a few cocktails

Thursday : 

• Last day in the office for me this week - such a busy week with some big org announcements!
• After bedtime, I now met up with my former co-worker and pal Amber for a few cocktails!
• After getting home, I said hi to the guys who were in our house playing golden tee and watching Thursday night football.  However, I went to bed and let them hang out.

Friday : 

• I worked from home and had a busy day!
• I picked up the kids around 4p and got them ready for their first night of gymnastics
• Both loved it and we hit up Arbys for dinner on the way home
• We then played with the Harty's before heading in for bedtime.
• After kids were in bed, Clint and I headed to the Harty's for a fire!!

Saturday : 

• Started the day with Saturday morning soccer - M improves by the week!
• We then ran to lunch and headed home to get changed for the apple orchard
• Had a blast at the apple orchard and their farmer's market craft fair - got some fun new stuff for the home
• After apple orchard, we played outside with the neighbor kids until dinner time
• We ate a new place called Choo Choo which has a train inside the restaurant - pretty good food
• Headed home for kids bedtime and college football on the couch!

Sunday : 

• I met a former co-worker Chris for coffee at 9a
• I then met up with my crew at mass 
• We then all headed home for FOOTBALL!!!
• Vikings looked great, Dolphins did NOT and Browns still lose HAHA
• I am now enjoying the Bengals in a season when I have low expectations but enjoying our new coaching thus far
• This is my rest of the day, couch with football and computer doing email/work clean up

Bye to Grandma and Labor Day Weekend!

Monday :

• Clint worked from home as our insurance adjuster came out to check out the hail damage and it turns out that we will get a new roof, almost all new windows and new garage door - HOLY COW!
• After work I ran by school to get Maci's 1st grade class listing - a few kids from last year but mainly new friends
• Mom and I took a nice long walk around the neighborhood to wrap up the night

Tuesday : 

• I volunteered to read at a summer kid program and at lunch my HR team headed to the MN state fair for a fun afternoon of food, rides and catching up outside of the office.
• Clint and I took a walk after I got caught up on email

Wednesday : 

• We hurried home from work to get Maci to her open house at school
• We met her new teacher Mrs Sheldon and put away all of her supplies so she is all set for next Tuesday
• After getting home, we all ate coneys and Clint and I took another walk around the neighborhood

Thursday : 

• I worked from home since I was driving mom to the airport shortly after lunch
• After our teary goodbyes, I got back to our home in time for more calls, Clint came home early to help me with M but she then went to the Harty's and swam.  
• I worked a little later than usual but then said "Wahoo long weekend!!!"

• Annual family fair day!
• We got to the fair around 1030a and didn't line up for the bus until almost 8p.  Such a fun day for our family!!

Saturday : 

• M had soccer in the morning and is really learning some impressive skills
• We ran a ton of errands and I got a lot done around the house - love when I am feeling productive on a long weekend
• Around 330p I finally gave into M and took the kids over to the Harty's to swim/hang out while Clint finished some errands
• We came home for dinner, put kids down for bed and took a brief walk before heading back over to the Harty's for a fire and Iowa football game.

Sunday : 

• Clint has his fantasy football draft extravaganza today this means golf around 12 and then dinner and draft and drinking - I expect him back around 10p
• The kids and I headed to the Fike's for lunch and hung with all the mommy & me friends.  After lunch we took a walk to their neighborhood park and then headed home for more household needs.
• Connor went down for an early bedtime and I am hoping M may do the same so I can watch my TV all alone :)

We hope you are also enjoying your labor day weekend and unofficial wrap up of summer!  While sad to say bye to summer, our house is looking forward to the start of the school year and the routine that it brings with it.  Time can slow down though - how is M a 1st grader?!
