Weekdays :
- Monday - Holiday!! We all got to have a quiet and dare I say almost boring day at home but given we never get a chance to be bored at home, it was welcomed! We watched shows, read, puzzled, played in snow/snowmobiled etc.
- Tuesday - Maci got to be star student this week so she took in her poster and pictures today to share with the class. In addition, it was also Rosie's 1st birthday - what an awesome dog she is!! Maci then had soccer in the evening while I had a team dinner to kick off our team offsite for the week here in MN.
We totally have a dog in Rosie that wants to ride along everywhere we go and the kids are a Ok w. this!
Happy 1st Birthday Rosie!
- Wednesday - I had another day of team offsite meetings, great discussions! Clint also went into the office today. I had a happy hour with the team after work and Clint was going to take M to soccer but life happens, he was running late and they decided to stay home. Been there, done that!
- Thursday - Last day of our offsite and ended around lunch. Left work around 430p for my hair apt. I got to clean email and enjoy a night at the salon getting my hair color and cut. Clint kindly brought me some dinner to the salon and he hung with the kids until I got home around bedtime.
Friday :
- To wrap the week of star student, 3rd graders are then star scientist. Maci was so excited to do her glitter germ experiment. We had recorded her doing it but she also wanted to do it live. She rocked it!
- Clint and I both worked from home and I was supposed to have my annual physical at 3p but as I was on my way to the apt, I got a call that my Dr just went home sick and they needed to reschedule - dodged that bullet likely!
- I then picked up Maci for gymnastics while Clint picked up Connor for errands - while we were at gymnastics they picked up 2 liters, Papa Murphy pizza and an ice cream cake
- We met back up at Applebees for dinner and beers
Star Scientist - so Excited!
Saturday :
- Busy but Awesome Day!!!
- We started the day with Clint going for a 8a massage apt
- He got home and we were all off to Connor's basketball - Maci and I hadn't seen it yet and while yes he is 6, he clearly knows what he is doing and is above average for his age HA
- Then we grabbed a late breakfast/early lunch before dropping me and M at home
- Clint and Connor were off to Connor's haircut at 1120a
- I spoke to my brother about the big upcoming game and got the house ready for M's party
- 12p - mobile spa arrived and so did 7 little girls!
- We had a great party from 12-3p and when the last girl was picked up (well not Natalie b/c she stayed the night) I cracked a beer and dove to the couch as the Bengals were coming on at 330p!
- I stayed glued to the couch, the tv and my phone for the next several hours and once again collapsed to the ground when we hit the game winning 52 yard field goal!!!!
- I was so touched by all the text well wishes I was getting - I think I make it pretty well known I love my Bengals!
- We watched the 49ers Packers game (Ouch for Packers fans!) and got the kids ready for bed but didn't force a bed time - I think they crashed between 10-11p
Spa Party Fun!

Sunday :
- Up and at 'em with Clint going to get donuts for the Birthday Girl - Miss Maci is 9!!
- We all enjoyed breakfast, chatted with Ryan when he came to get Natalie and then had a super productive get things done morning - laundry, groceries, week prep etc.
- Clint ran Maci to soccer at 2p and decided to run around the dome during her practice.
- Clint is playing with our neighbor buddy Nash while I keep getting things ready for the week ahead.
- Maci and Clint are now snowmobiling and I will order us some Cheesecake Factory for her birthday dinner all while enjoying the rest of playoff football in the background.
9 Years w. our Maci Girl!
We hope you are all staying warm during this part of winter & continue to enjoy playoff football!
Lots of Love,
