Rosie's Big Stick & Heavy Snow

Weekdays :

  • Tues-Wed : Clint went to Milwaukee for work and the kids and I hung back - thankfully they continue to get better with age when solo parenting
  • Wednesday night Maci had soccer while Connor and I passed a ball in the dome and walked the track
  • Thursday I started to notice my nose was running a bit and my head felt stuffy
Rosie found a huge new stick or also known as a branch!

So Proud of her Stick

She loves her Doggie!
Friday :
  • Clint and I had super productive Fridays at home
  • We picked the kids up and ran to Maci's gymnastics
  • Afterward, we decided to hit up River Inn as a family, dang we love that place!
  • My head cold was still bugging me so I took some nyquil and went to bed after we got home
Maci made a Who Day helmet on her coloring page at dinner
Saturday
  • We ran to Yo Yo Donuts as a family to start the day - yummy!
  • The boys then had haircuts
  • Maci went over to her pal Livi's house in the neighborhood
  • Clint and I got a lot done around the house - groceries, laundry etc
  • After the kids went to bed, Clint and I headed over to the Jonas house for a redo of the neighborhood holiday party that never occurred thanks to COVID outbreaks
  • We had lots of laughs and a very boy vs girl party with the guys hanging around the table and the girls chatting it up in the kitchen
Sunday :
  • Last night there was a dumping of 3 inches of super heavy snow
  • I slept in, thanks Clint, in an effort to kick this head cold non sense.  Clint then plowed the driveway and walk way while I got the kids set on their weekend homework.
  • Maci is now off to Soccer followed by Livi coming to our house to play for a bit
  • While she does that, Connor is catching up on his current fav show Bluey in the basement
  • I am about to open a book for some R&R and Clint is enjoying some rest himself - we love a good lazy Sunday!!
We are hoping to start seeing spring but it looks like it could still be a few weeks out for us!!  Here's to longer days and hopefully warmer temps soon.
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
