Weekdays:
- Monday: Super busy week of work for Clint as he was in charge of facility/security prep for Hurricane Ian for the Cargill sites in FL/GA etc. After work, I grabbed Maci and took her to soccer practice. Clint picked up Connor and took him to his practice. We met back up at home to watch Monday Night Football and do some work in the background.
- Tuesday : Maci enjoyed girls on the run and Clint picked up the kids. I ended my day with a hair appointment to get my color and cut fresh!
- Wednesday : Clint and I both went into the office. Once again we had to divide and conquer with the kids. I picked up Maci and took her to soccer practice. While we did this, Clint and Connor were off to Connor's first evening of religion class at Holy Name church.
- Thursday : Lots of great news today! Our deck is fully finished and looks amazing!! The Hurricane missed all of the Cargill facilities so not near as concerning as they had once thought! We got to order Wings and enjoy the Thursday night game of Bengals vs Dolphins. There was a bit of a dark cloud over the game with the injury to Tua (Miami's QB) but we still enjoyed the game and loved that the Bengals pulled off the W with the sweet uniforms at home!
White out for the Bengals (Sweet Uniforms!!)
Bengals Out Number the Dolphins Fan
Friday :
- Boomer had his annual vet appointment at 930a and the Dr says everything looks fine for this 14 year old dog - other than his weight, he is super over weight! Worst it has been in years and that is all b/c he keeps trying to sneak Rosie's puppy food! Ugh!
- The kids got home on the bus and continue to LOVE riding that home on Fridays!
- Maci had soccer at 530p and Clint took her but then I picked her up.
- We enjoyed Papa John's pizza for dinner and then enjoyed family movie night watching Hocus Pocus 2 that just released on Disney +
This Kid Cracks Me Up
Thanks Uncle Dko for all the crazy Raiders Gear
Saturday :
- I started the day with a massage - amazing!!!
- I hustled home and helped Connor to finish getting ready and then we were off to his soccer game. They played great, he had 2 goals but were served their first L of the season
- We then left to Hams for lunch, Total Wine for Pumpkin/Fall beers and Target for a birthday gift, mini soccer ball and snacks for Maci's game the next day
- It was then time to get to Maci's soccer game at 145p - it was a tough battle and we came out tied 1-1 in a super aggressive game
- We then headed home to get some things done and no sooner did we get home but it was time to take Connor to his buddy Chuck's house for a playdate
- The rest of us watched college football and got stuff done until Clint went and picked up Connor at 7p from Chuck's
- We continued watching football and getting things done until kids bedtime and then we grabbed some beers and hung out at the Harty fire with the Herness family as well - YAY Fall!
Sunday:
- Up and at 'em for another busy weekend day!
- Maci had a soccer game out in Lakeville at 10a - thanks to McDonalds slow drive thru, we were running a titch late for warm ups
- They played great and had a 1-0 win but felt like it could have been 8-0, they had so many shots on goal!
- Once it was over, we were off to Eden Prairie for Connor's flag football practice and game. They took on the Lions and won 20-0. Their D was awesome! Connor was a flag pulling fool. In addition, Connor had a few good runs and was QB on a 2 point conversion, actually throwing and hitting the guy in the end zone. YAY!
- We finally got to head home and got here around 245p after having left the house at 9a - we got to watch the end of the first games of NFL and then did weekly prep, groceries, laundry etc during the afternoon games.
- The kids are going to get showers soon in prep for Monday and Picture Day! Clint and I are watching the night game and all are about to crash!
Studs!
We hope you are also enjoying all the great weather, pretty colors and fun activities that come with Fall!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
