- Monday - I was actually on it and worked out before heading into the office. I even figured out how to go to the UHC building to start my day and then head over to Optum. I wrapped my day with a great interview with a gal that we are going to offer a role to on my team. Great way to wrap a day! We had no to dos in the evening which made for a nice relaxing night!
- Tuesday - I had my team offsite with the leadership team. We ended the day with happy hour and then I picked up dinner for the family on my way home. Another nice low key evening at home.
- Wednesday - Another team offsite but this time with our extended team. We wrapped our day with a team dinner/cocktails and secret snowflake gift exchange! While I was having fun with the team, Clint kindly got Connor to his Faith Formation class and Maci to her finishing class. The Hintze's helped with kid running by brining Maci home from soccer since both kids wrapped at the same time.
- Thursday - Maci's last day of girls on the run before the big 5k. I had a normal day back at the office and picked up the kids on the way home. Clint ran Maci to and from her 7p soccer practice and then we ended the day with some hot tub and Thursday night football.
Friday :
- Productive day working from home for Clint and me
- We got to enjoy a live stream Veterans Program from the kids' school and my brother, Dustin, was able to dial in and watch too! It was so well done!
- In the early afternoon Clint and I hoped on a call with our financial advisor to plan out the remainder of the year and what not
- Right as we were hanging up, the kids came off the bus and were super happy to be home - yay Friday!
- We headed to Applebees for dinner around 6p and it was packed b/c of their "Veterans eat free" program on Veterans Day but Maci and Connor loved seeing so many veterans!
Saturday :
- Clint and I started the day with a 3 mile cold walk with the dogs.
- Afterward, Clint and Connor were off to basketball practice at 1120a while Maci and I took on the playroom - it was a total disaster, I should have taken a before pick.
- We worked on that room from 1130a until 330p!!! We had over 3 bags of garbage, an entire car load of items for a Goodwill run and a dollhouse to clean up/list on Facebook market place for sale.
- The kids BIG Christmas gift this year is redoing that room to make it a bit more of a tween hangout. We are mounting a tv with gaming counsel, new bookshelf, high top table/chairs, been bag gaming chairs, new rug, new sports posters etc. It looks amazing now! We were all exhausted by 5p but we kept going and after dinner, Clint and I ordered all the items for the new playroom - it is going to look awesome!!!!
- We ended the day with a late grocery drop off & a dip in the hot tub.
Sunday :
- Up early for the big 5k! It was COLD!
- We got there just in time as traffic got nutty and we dropped Clint and Maci with her team at 850a when the race is set to start at 9a.
- Maci's wave started at 9:24a and she was done by 9:45a!!! SHE IS INSANE!!! She also felt pretty icky afterward but did awesome. Clint was about 10 mins behind her. We started to warm up, said hi to Maci's best buddy Natalie who also ran with her school and then we were off!
- We enjoyed a big breakfast at Peg's near our house afterward
- Now we are all warm near the fire, watching football and getting ready for the week.
They are ready and we are staying warm inside before it starts!
Post Run Fun
