Weekdays:
- Monday - Happy Memorial Day!!! A nice toasty day spent mainly at the pool floating around. We cooked out and just enjoyed some down time on a nice sunny day at home. Thank you to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice!
- Tuesday - Back at it! Another nice day with a chance of a pop up thunderstorm but pretty humid. I met a former co-worker Brittany for happy hour/appetizers while Clint wrangled the kids/got Maci to soccer practice.
- Wednesday - The heat continues and Connor had baseball practice at 7p with Clint.
- Thursday - Maci had her final Girls on the Run practice, this coming Tuesday is just a party! I worked from home to help get Maci to soccer practice by 530p. After practice, I was off to meet 2 girlfriends for a late happy hour dinner at 730p. Dang my belly hurts from laughing with Megan and Lisa - it's been too long!! Also that evening we got some fun news, Maci was asked to play up on the Academy 1 team for a weekend tournament in St Croix - Go Maci!!
Friday :
- It was another humid day and I tried to work from the deck for some of it so that my hair could hair dry as curly and as big as possible.
- Maci got picked up by Charley's dad around 330p as they had the first game way out in St Croix at 520p and with rush hour that was going to take longer than an hour. They made it and had a great game - winning 5-1!!
- We had PROM that evening! It was for a charity called Every Meal for kids in need of food. It was too much fun! We left around 6p after taking some pictures and Connor got to have a few hours with Steph (summer nanny) solo!
- We started at the Iron Exchange for dinner and drinks - lots of stares occurred as well
- Then at 8p we rolled in for our prom.
- So much dancing, so many pictures and I won the hair care basket from the raffle!
- At 12a the prom ended and there was an after party at Innkahoots across the street BUT we didnt last long - like wilting flowers we were ready to crash around 1230a.

Saturday :
- Clint was up and at 'em for some golf with the former neighborhood guys - Jared, John and Jake.
- I got rolling not long after to get Maci, Connor and I out to St Croix for game #2. We found it fine and she was warming up before we knew it. They played great and Maci looked fast and strong! They won this one 3-0. That was the end of the tournament as they only secured 3 teams for her age group so YAY 1st place it is and they got a new bag tag for their soccer bags!!
- We grabbed some quick food at the field and a tournament shirt before making the long drive back home.
- I met Clint at the golf course for Connor's golf lessons at 1230p.
- Maci and I ran to target to get end of year teacher gifts and a gift for her friend Rowan who is moving to Edina next year so leaving our school.
- After we got home, I told Maci to leave me alone as I needed a nap :)
- Clint ran Maci to Charley's house for a sleep over and I finally got up around dinner time.
- Connor, Clint and I decided on a trip to River Inn, never disappoints!!!!
- Once back home, we had a lazy night of TV while Maci had a blast at her friends.

Sunday :
- HOT DAY!
- We started with a walk with the dogs and coffee - woah warm!
- We got some stuff done around the house and I ran to pick up Maci from Charley's while Clint was off to football with Connor.
- Maci and I got to the game and watched a real dog fight - we ended up winning by 1 touchdown. Connor had a sweet rushing touchdown, the final one to win! And he had a sick pick 6 that he came running all the way over to me to ask if I saw it HAHA
- Connor was off to his pal Anna's house for slip and slide fun and Maci was so excited to hear soccer practice got cancelled. They have 5 games this week and given the heat, we can skip 1 night of touches on the ball :)
- We got some more stuff done around the house and now are off to Connor's baseball game at 530p against the Phillies.
- We are picking up some KFC for dinner and then enjoying a night at home before the big last week of school!!!
Football Fun
We hope you are enjoying this change to summer!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
