Team Offsite, End of Basketball Season & Indoor Soccer Games!

Before the Super Bowl last Sunday, Connor & Anna had a Skateboard Lesson
The Older Kids in the Skate Park kept fist bumping them b/c they learned so much in 1 hour!
The Best of Friends!
Weekdays:
  • Monday - Maci had her training in the evening which Clint took her to and then I swung by to pick her up but got there early so I could get some work done.
  • Tuesday - I had my HR team offsite throughout the day.  Clint ran Maci to and from her training at night while I attended our team dinner/happy hour/games at Punch Bowl Social.

  • Wednesday - Happy Valentine's Day!  I headed home early after our offsite ended in the early afternoon.  I had a bad headache and wanted to go along to Maci's eye Dr apt.  Thankfully she was all clear for the eye check and the annual well check referral was a flook.  Afterward, we were going to do Applebee's for dinner before Connor's basketball practice but my head was killing me!  Instead we came home, ordered DoorDash and I took a nap!  What a wonderful Valentine's Day Ha!

  • Thursday - The kids had no school due to conferences.  I had a busy schedule at work but left to meet Clint at the school for the conferences starting at 420p.  We had Maci first and she rocks!  Her teacher loves how she asks questions, is super open when she doesn't understand, gives it her all and never cuts corners.  We couldn't say it better ourselves and he has 0 concerns on her being able to keep up at Middle School.  Then we went to Connor's - while he is super smart the effort and care is just not there right now.  His teacher said Connor picks and chooses when he cares to participate.  He is always kind and polite but not always in it.  She can tell he is smart but needs to up the focus.  After conferences, Maci had soccer practice.  I took her, worked from the car and then afterward, she got to shop at Target as a reward for such a great conference.  On the other hand, Connor got a mom/dad meeting to talk about how he is going to participate more and try his best at school.
Friday:
  • No school again!
  • Clint and I started the day with a bagel run
  • I got a few meetings out of the way and then had my Dysport apt.
  • I made it home for a few more meetings and finally the wonderful gag gift for my co-worker Nicole arrived.  I got her to stop at my house to pick it up on the way to the airport - she heads to India for the week.  Check out her reaction!
  • I had a few more meetings and then it was time to scoot to Maci's soccer game.
  • They played the top team from our club but the year younger and we tied 0-0!  It was such a great game!  We played hard, smart and had some great shots that didn't fall our way.  These girls are an undefeated squad that are not accustomed to anything but winning and we showed them what was up!  Our coach told the girls that she has known Coach Chad since she was a baby and she has never seen him scared but she saw him scared tonight!  HAHA - I agree, our girls came to play!
  • A few of the families went to Sunshine Factory for a late dinner and drinks afterward.  Such a good crew!
Everything I hoped the gag gift would be and then some!

Oh and her reaction - so good!
Saturday:
  • Up and at 'em with Clint's 8a massage.
  • I was then the one right after him at 915a - so relaxing.
  • While I was getting my massage, Clint ran Maci to her gymnastics lesson.
  • After my massage, I was off to the house to grab Clint and Connor for his final basketball game of the season.
  • Thankfully Anaya's mom was able to take Maci home from gymnastics so we could both be at the game.
  • I was able to live stream it with my mom and dad on the line.
  • Connor was on FIRE as was his team!  We crushed the competition some 60+ points to 4.
  • I am so going to miss watching Connor hoop it up but then there is always next year!  He is also looking to try a 3v3 league for a bit this spring!  He has a bright future in basketball!
  • We grabbed lunch and came home to feed Maci and then run her to soccer practice at 1p.
  • I worked on stuff around the house while Clint played chauffer.
  • Once home, we rested a bit and then Rowan got dropped off at 430p for a slumber party.
  • We went out to eat at Kobe (hibachi) as a family + Rowan at 630p and afterward I ran the girls by Target so they could get some baking supplies for cookies.
  • We came home and Clint/Connor watched basketball, I laid down and the girls baked/played until 12a.

Sunday:
  • We all slept in a bit and Maci made her and Rowan eggs for breakfast.
  • Rowan was picked up at 9a and Maci headed off to soccer practice at 10a.
  • Maci complained about her legs being sore for the first time ever today HA but she did have a game, gymnastics and 2 practices all within the last 72 or so hours.  The girl is fierce!
  • Clint took Connor to the indoor batting cages.
  • Maci watched some iPad and I cleaned, got ready for the week.
  • We are all having a chill late afternoon and are ready for another week ahead.
  • Clint gets to enjoy the kids at home one more day tomorrow thanks to President's Day - unfortunately not a holiday for the adults!
We hope you are enjoying these final weeks/months of winter!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
