Memorial Day Weekend Fun!!

Weekdays:

• Monday
• Busy evening with Maci having training, followed by new uniform try ons, then off to practice.  Clint brought her home from practice as I met up with my gal pals/former Cargill coworkers, Megan and Lisa at Redstone for a late dinner/HH.  I havent laugh cried that hard in a long time!!  Love them :)

• Tuesday
• We had a virtual baby shower for my admin Abbey at work.  Then Maci had indoor training at 5p which I picked her and Reagan up from and Connor was to have baseball but thanks to the rain, got cancelled.
• Wednesday
• Clint had some blood work in the morning and then we ran to get bagels together.  I worked from home until 1p when I drove to the hair salon to get a cut/color and worked from there.  We watched the Wolves in Game 1 at home that night lose in a close one to the Mavs :(
• Thursday
• Busy day of work but I did so from home b/c Clint left mid day for his Bourbon trip with our brother in law Christian.  I met the kids off the bus and then ran Maci to and from soccer practice while the Pinkerton's helped me by running Connor to and from his baseball scrimmage.  Connor had some great hits and they crushed the scrimmage!

Friday:

• I got the kids off to school fine on my own.
• Finally we were done with rain and cooler temps which made for a nice day of working from home.
• I got a lot of meetings done in the morning followed by an afternoon of to dos.
• I met the kids off the bus and talked to Oliver's dad John for a bit.
• I finished my work day and then the kids and I ordered dinner and settled in for the Wolves Game 2  . . . another close but last minute loss :(
• Clint had a blast on his full day 1 of Bourbon fun!

Saturday:

• We all slept in at the house.
• It was a pretty day but not super hot for pools etc.
• Connor went to a birthday party at Konstantin's from 11-2 and while he was there, Maci and I hit up the mall - Sephora, Lululemon, Athleta, Evereve and H&M.  We enjoyed a lunch at Chipotle, running into her teammate and pal Violet then wrapped with a quick stop to the candy store. 
• Once home, I took a nap and the kids played in and outside.
• We got up and moving and did Kobe for dinner - the hibachi place near our house.
• We watched some more TV at home and then called it a night.
• Clint lived up day 2 of Bourbon fun and now was back at Meghan/Christian's house for the night

Sunday:

• We got some stuff done around the house, did a Target run together and were excited to welcome Clint home around 7p.
• The day had been pretty overcast and cooler but by the time Clint got home it was warmer and cleared up.  He and I took a walk with the doggies and then tuned in to game 3 of the Wolves.  It was another close game but another L - URGH!
• We went to bed watching several episodes of Law & Order.  Clint had a great time and we were all excited to have our crew back together at home.

Everyone was excited for another day of the weekend, even if it was going to be a stormy Memorial Day!  We hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday weekend!

Soccer Tournament & 2x Flag + Baseball!!

Weekdays:

• Monday - Got my annual mammogram in the morning - all good and clear!  I then got some work done before taking my mom for a quick chick-fil-a lunch and drop at the airport.  I finished my day of work at home and then we were off around 4p to Maci's soccer game in Victoria.  They won 2-0 - Yay!  We then headed to Floyd's with many of the team members for some dinner/drinks and fun!
• Tuesday - Good day at the office and grabbed Maci from her training while Connor and Clint were at Baseball practice.

• Wednesday - Busy day at work with a tech townhall followed by the Tech QBR in the afternoon.  Once I left work, I met Clint at Warner Stellian to order a new washer since our current one has lost all its shocks and struts.  Then we hauled home to take Maci to her soccer practice at 7p.
• Thursday - Started the day by Clint and I heading into his class at 8a to see their products that they built to sell to each other through their business learning lesson.  So cute.  I was then on my way to the office while Clint went home to get ready for his field trip with Miss Maci and her pals to the Science Museum!  I then ran Maci to soccer practice in the evening and met up with Clint at Connor's baseball field for their scrimmage against the Cardinals - they crushed it and a huge thanks to Jess Eull for driving Maci home!

Friday : 

• I had a nice light day which meant I took a nap at one point!
• Got some good work completed and then by 345p we were off to Apple Valley for night 1 of Maci's soccer tournament.  Gorgeous weather but we had a super disappointing 2-1 loss to a team that we are notably better than :(  Maci had 1 almost goal from center D that hit the top crossbar and she had another goal that was completely over the line when the goalie grabbed it but they played on.  It happens! We ate away our woes in chips/salsa at El Azteca with a few girls from the team.

Saturday :

• Maci and I wanted to be lazy so Clint took my massage appointment at 8a and she and I laid in bed and watched a few episodes of Dance moms together.  A great start to the day!
• Maci skipped her gymnastics class, last one of the school year, b/c she wanted all her energy for soccer and dang she had it!!
• Game 2 was at 215p and we won 2-0 but had so many shots on goal and dominated!
• We then hung out at a brewery to have pizza and drinks in between to kill the time, too far of a drive to head home and come back.
• Game 3 was at 6p and we pulled out the 1-0 W even though we also dominated again.  This gave us a 2nd place finish in the tourney - Wahoo!
• The team then came over our house and we kept the party going until about 11p. Parents gone wild HA as the kids played ghost in the graveyard/flashlight tag.

Sunday : 

• We all slept until about 9a, super exhausted!
• Connor had a double header for Flag - they left around 930a for the 10a practice.  While they were gone, I got laundry going.  Maci and I grabbed some Starbucks and then headed to the field.  We got there in time to see Connor's team complete a butt whooping in game one.  Connor threw a TD and had a sweet catch for a TD.  Go Boys!
• Game 2 was closer but came out with another W even after they seemed exhausted post 3 hours of football.
• We had a quick break at home where I got more home tidying completed before the boys were off to the baseball game.  Maci and I again met up and it was another big W!  Connor has figured out the pitching machine and had 4 great hits!  He also had some nice fielding.
• We headed home, ate Olive Garden for dinner and then got ready for the big Timberwolves Game 7!  We were worried at half time but shouldn't have been because the guys figured it out and got the W :) WAHOO!!!!!  So excited going to bed :)

Birthday, Grandma Visit, First Communion & Mothers Day!!

Weekdays:

• Monday - Clint took the Honda in for regular maintenance in the morning - she keeps on humming! I had a busy day but hauled out in time to meet Maci at her soccer training before it ended at 6p. She and I quickly ran over to Subway for a sandwich before she had another practice that began at 7p.  I worked from the car while she had her practice and then we all enjoyed cupcakes afterward for Violet's birthday

• Tuesday - Happy Birthday to me :) It was a nice day out, I worked from home and I got to enjoy Soccer!  Maci and I had a game to go to at 6p in downtown.  They were the stronger team but pulled the draw with a 1-1 tie. While we were at this game, Clint and Connor were at Connor's baseball practice.  Once every one was home, I showered, turned on my junk TV and enjoyed myself for the rest of my day!
• Wednesday - We had a fun day at the office with a Special Olympics Polar Plunge at the office.  I then left work for a Happy Hour with my former co-worker Kari who just left to Medtronic.

• Thursday - I had a super busy day at the office.  I hustled out of there to meet Maci at her soccer game against Edina.  They played so great 5-0 win!!  Maci had a goal, several sweet shots and a sick save when she played keeper for a bit.  While we were at the game, Connor had baseball practice with Clint.  We came home after grabbing a late dinner and hopped in the car with Clint and Connor to drive to the airport to pick up my mom.  The kids and I paced the baggage claim area while Clint waited in the pick up area for us.  The kids were so excited to see Grandma!  They chatted her ear off and then we all went to bed :)

Friday : 

• My mom got up and came to the bus stop with the kids
• Clint, mom and I then ran to the bagel shop for some breakfast
• While Clint and I were on calls all morning, she went back to bed
• Once she was up, I moved to the deck to enjoy the weather and work from there
• The kids came home and we all chatted a bit before it was time to head to the Greenwood school carnival
• The kids ran all over and had fun with friends while my mom, Clint and I wandered around and talked with people here and there.
• Clint and Connor left early to head to the Timberwolves game 3 vs the Nuggets. . . unfortunately they looked as bad in this game as Nuggets did in Game 2 
• Mom, Maci and I cheered on at home but it got super sad and we went to bed

Saturday :

• Connor's 1st Communion Day - We got up and at 'em around 830a
• Everyone got nice and pretty and started taking pics outside around 945a
• We were at the Church by 10a and chatted with some of the other people we know a part of the special day
• Connor and our family were Row 2
• Connor behaved really well and so did Maci girl
• After mass, we were off to brunch at Birch's at the Lake - such a gorgeous view and day to watch the lake
• We rolled home from there, got changed, did some things around the house and then Anna came over for a play date with Connor
• While Anna was here playing, Mom, Maci and I headed to get our toes done and did a little Target shopping.
• We came back, hung out on the deck, ordered some pizza and watched tv for the evening.
• Clint went over to the neighbors for a bit to see if the Northern Lights were out again.

Sunday : 

• Happy Mother's Day!
• Connor's First Communion didnt count as Sunday mass so we had to go again at 830a.
• The kids were excited to go with Grandma and to get dressed up again.
• Straight from mass, we went to 6 Smith for their Mother's Day brunch buffet.  The kids were so excited to give me two pairs of earrings and super sweet cards!
• Clint and Connor had to leave a little early for his Flag Football practice.
• From there, Maci, mom and I ran home, changed and were off to the fields in time for the game.
• Connor scored 2 Touchdowns - rushing and a catch and run!  After each TD he threw up his hands as a heart at me and ran over to give a big hug!  He said one was for me and one was for Grandma - it was a great win!
• Then we came home for a bit, did some errands around the house and the boys were off again to baseball.
• Shortly after they left, we followed.  It was a gorgeous day at the field and the boys were hitting sooooo well!  Connor got on base all 3 times he hit and they won this one too!!  They even wanted to hang around and play some more after the game was over! HA
• The girls headed home - I did household to dos while Mom and Maci played Guess Who.  Clint and Connor road to KFC to pick up our family dinner.
• We had a yummy meal on the deck, kept getting things done around the house and the kids showered after a day of sun and sweat!
• We watched another heart breaking Timberwolves loss just now and the kids are heading to bed way too late, mom has gone to bed and I am about to follow after folding my last load of laundry

We take my mom to the airport tomorrow BOO 😔 and have a full week of kids activities in the evenings - tis one of the busiest times of the year - end of school HAHA! We hope you are enjoying this time of year!
