Mondells in Minneapolis: Onsite LT Meetings, Basketball Coaches Get Together, Baseball Team Meet & Greet + Start of Spring Break

Weekdays:

Monday - Clint took the Toyota to get maintenance in the morning. I had a full day of leadership meetings which ended with a dinner at night. While I was there, Clint had the basketball coaches over to our house for a end of season drink. I also picked up Maci on the way home from my work dinner.
Tuesday - I had another day of full leadership team meetings. I hustled home to be able to get to Connor's Baseball team meet and greet out in Blaine. Maci was taken to her practice by Ayla's family and we had to pick Maci & Ayla up at 9p on our way back from the baseball dinner/batting cages.
Wednesday - Last day of work and school - wahooo! Clint did a walk through with Benjamin so he could watch the dogs. I got out of work on time to get home and start packing. Clint had to help with the dome tear down for baseball and the kids helped me to pack until he got home. Once packed, we all crashed and enjoyed a peaceful night before travel.
Thursday - The uber picked us up around 830a and we were off. We enjoyed the Delta Lounge and drinks/food with the Kurth's before boarding our 11a flight to LA. We got to our rental car and it took us about 2 hours to get down to San Diego from LA. The boys and girls swam a bit once at the hotel and then we found some dinner at a sports bar to watch b-ball games. Oddly the power went out so we all sat there in the dark trying to figure out how to pay - that's CA for you.

Friday:

Game 1 at 10a vs Silicon Valley - they weren't a great team but we had 2 funky goals. One was a questionable no call foul against Maci and the D didn't slide over to help cover. The 2nd came in the final minutes with one of our star players going to deflect and it awkwardly bounced off her leg and into the goal. We lost 2-1 and were all annoyed b/c we could have had them.
We went back to the room to chill for a bit and then did some time at the beach.
At night, the girls had dinner with their coach (Lucca) at the hibachi while the parents went to a sports bar for more NCAA games.

Saturday:

Game 2 vs Oregon at 1015a - we came out sleep walking and allowed a goal in the first few minutes. . . Maci will make sure you know she wasn't on the field when this happened :) The girls powered through and went on to win 3-1!!! Such a great bounce back game!
We had lunch by the beach and then had to hustle back to get ready for the San Diego Wave women's pro game that night. Our girls got to go down on the field and high five the players ahead of the game.

Sunday:

We got all checked out in the morning before the game
We had another 10a game this time vs Colorado. We got a 1-0 lead and even though I think we could have won by more, girls were tired and we held that lead the entire game. Nice to leave with a 2-1 record on the week.
From the field, we loaded up the car with Neko/Charlie as they were heading to LA with us. We had a good drive until the girls were complaining of headaches and not feeling great. We think they were dehydrated but we stopped for lunch and it wasn't getting better. Clint ran to the local target to get Pedialyte. We were trying to help them.
We got back in the car and drove to the hotel for the night near the airport but as we unloaded Maci screamed for me and then started to get sick in the bushes - ugh damn migraine and poor gril!
We had them hose down the sidewalk and then got her in a shower and straight to bed at 5p.
Clint and Charlie enjoyed a drink and some food while we all crashed.
