This was our driving day. We went 12 hours with only 2 stops and very minimal peeps out of Miss Maci. She actually slept 10 hours of the 12 hour trip which seemed odd and made me nervous for the evening but we would take the peace and quiet on what can be a long drive. Once we got in and had some nice embraces from my parents. We unpacked and Grandma Janet took over Miss Maci while Clint and I got some adult time at my Brother Dustin's indoor soccer game. So nice to be around my family!

This was the Gilroy family photo day! My mom has always mentioned how she would like to get some updated family pictures since the last family photo we did had Aidan as a baby and he is now in the 4th grade!! Each family had their own color so you can tell who goes together in the group pics. The Mondell Family was a light purple and I think we looked nice together. Maci was a GREAT baby even though she felt a little warm. She loved smiling at Grandma Janet, Aunt Mo (Molly) and her Cousins Sophie/Lorelai. We got a lot of great pics with my siblings, our own families, group shots and of course grandparent/grand kids pictures. Our setting was great to at the Mt Airy arboretum and the photographer, 2nd cousin Susan Creech, did an amazing job too!
After pictures, we went to Frisch's for some burgers and more cousin bonding time. Again, Maci felt warm but kept throwing around toys and entertaining her cousins. We then had about an hour of rest before we got ready for Aunt Mo's Varsity Soccer game. While she played tough, the team lost 2-1 to Oak Hills. However, Maci was a huge hit in the stands with her Walnut Hills colors :)

Maci's Baptism! Poor Maci was not looking good Sunday morning. She was still warm and was extremely clingy to me which is not like her. Around 9a, we were sitting outside my parents kitchen when Maci clutched me closely and then puked all over her and me. Poor baby got sick and basically lost her entire first bottle of the day. Once she got it up, she seemed to feel better but was lethargic her entire Baptism day. It was still a beautiful celebration with Family. Later in the evening we went to Anderson's who are friends of Clint's mom & dad. They hosted us to a nice dinner and saw one of Clint's good friends, Matt. However, poor Maci was still pretty out of it and very tired :(

Monday, August 26thMaci woke up a new kid - thank goodness!!! We went to the Cincinnati Zoo with my mom, Nephew Preston, Friend Meagan & her son Grant. It was a great, HOT, but great morning/early afternoon at the zoo and socializing with a long term friend.
That night, we went on my Aunt's new boat. It is an amazing 53 Foot Yacht that they plan to travel around the world with. It sure was an amazing boat ride, great views and good conversation with great family!!
Tuesday, August 27th
My mom and I went shopping for Fall/Winter clothes for Maci girl while Clint slept in and went on a run. I love shopping with my mom as it is one of our favorite past times to do together. Later that night, we met up with my best guy friend, Eric and his girlfriend Amanda. We went to one of my favorite restaurants - Deweys! Miss Maci decided to really introduce herself and had a blow out at the dinner table. Nice job Kellie on NOT packing a change of clothes so I got to change her mess in the bathroom and then carry her out in just a diaper, good times!
Off to Dayton!
