We had a Doctor's Apt on Tuesday and she was SHOCKED how far I had progressed since just the prior Friday but alas I write this on Sunday with no baby in my arms so we still wait and see. I am ok waiting if the contractions and false labor would stop so I could enjoy my final weeks before Christmas as a family of 3. Let's see how this coming week goes on the baby front.
Tuesday evening after the Dr apt we had Maci's holiday party at school. Santa saw her yet again and she showed him her fingernails from the prior weekend's mani/pedi fun. She also asked for princess dresses, a new one this time :)

Clint had a networking Christmas party on Thursday night so Maci and I ate McDonald's. Yep, that is the kind of mom I am these days - a really tired mom! Oh so then this is the site Clint comes home to from his networking event with Maci running around the house playing with her toys :)
Friday - I got out of work a little later than I wanted so I rushed to pick up Maci and then dropped a huge bomb on her - "we are going to see Disney princesses ice skate!" She then proceeded to run around the entire daycare center wanting to tell every single teacher and kid who remained at the center :) So cute! Miss M LOVED every minute of it which seeing her face had us turn into the most generous parents ever : Anna Frozen doll for souvenir, cotton candy, donuts, hot dogs and drinks. Again, she LOVED it and just kept yelling to the princesses like they could hear her :) However, we did have great seats only being about 10 rows back. The girl was wide awake the whole way home telling us all about her favorite parts, Anna doll and the music.

Saturday - We started the day with the usual gym class and brunch (Yum!) We then ran a few errands and I took a brief nap, I am so pathetic, before heading to the Mommy & Me annual Christmas get together. The kids all LOVED Santa's visit this year and we only had a few tears over wanting the gift someone else got. Maci was so happy to see all her pals and it is so cute to see them play together well and fight over toys too :) I loved seeing all my momma friends and talking ways to get this baby out or to at least leave me alone for the last 2 weeks. Clint enjoyed sharing beers with the guys and talking sports.

Sunday - Today was the day I swore I would go into labor just due to the Steelers/Bengals game. I unfortunately stayed far too calm with the number of injuries and disappointing lose at home. We spent the morning getting our groceries for the week, tiding the house and now we are getting ready to head out for dinner. Our sweet neighbor Karoline is giving us a date night before baby comes as our Christmas gift this year. Miss M was a little sass earlier today so she is spending some time in her room and I am about to get dressed for dinner. I may eat a really spicy meal, just watch me baby!

I need to go splash my face with water before dinner as I feel like I could fall asleep again! Maybe baby is staying in longer because he knows my body needs sleep - I feel like I have narcolepsy AHH We don't have too many plans this week but baby either needs to come this week or wait for the 28th. I do NOT want to be in the hospital over Christmas or to give the poor baby a Christmas birthday! Please pray for a healthy birth for both baby and me no matter when the fella decides to come :)
