The Bengals at least put on a show last week but alas blew it per usual
Our Crew Still had a good time, minus mommy!

Monday - Daddy left to NE in the early afternoon and Mommy was on single parent duty through 3 days of hectic kiddo life. First up was ice skating Monday night. I got the kids home in time, quickly made some mac n cheese with M's help, ate and then ran to the rink. Maci LOVES ice skating so much and a sweet 12 year old girl has taken a liking to her and keeps telling Maci that she can now do jumps and leaps and if you try real hard you could skate like her :) So Sweet and if you ask M she wants to be a ballerina on ice - so cute!

While Maci skates, mom has to entertain our busy almost 2 year old - this is what we did this past week - silly selfies!! I am sure the people around me thought I was crazy :)Tuesday - Poor kiddos had an early wake up call with Mom having a 7a at work - Rise n Shine! It didn't get much better for them after school when I surprised them with a trip to the Dr for FLU SHOTS! Mean mommy but I was on top of my game and remembered to bring a fun size pack of M&Ms in my coat pocket for each. M was up first and just as she started to cry and fuss, I pulled out a pack with her saying "OK mom, that is a good surprise" Connor was up next and started crying the minute we pulled down his pants - he isn't stupid, he saw Maci do the same and then jam in their thigh followed by OWwww. But Connor also settled down with a pacifier and M&Ms - Yay - got that done! We grabbed Burger King, don't judge this is survival mode, and headed home for bedtimes and some evening work for momma.
Connor Loving Parachute Time
Wednesday - Alright last day alone, you can do this! Today was another frantic day followed by little gym - last week I did this solo and was almost 25 minutes late. Today, I was smarter, I packed a change of clothes for me knowing I would be running late. I also brought good snacks for the kids to tie them over to dinner. We were not only on time but about 5 mins early - WOAH! Connor LOVES Little Gym and I had fun with my little guy 1:1 time. While I was in with him, Maci made a new friend (one of the older siblings of a kid in Connor's class) they are both 4.5 and helped the workers wash the windows HA We grabbed some food and waited on daddy to show back home around 10p.

Thursday - Clint is home - wahoo!! But now mom has a leadership team meeting from 6a-1p. UGH - I just want some sleep but I can do this. Up and at work by 530a, no one is really in the building at that hour if you are curious. Made it through meetings, started to fall asleep sitting up as a co-worker came by to say hi - realized I needed to move some meetings and chill the rest of the afternoon. Got a little bit of work done and headed home for pizza.Friday - Work from home day! I went to bed at like 730p but feel like a million bucks! I was up and at 'em before the rest of the family : ordered groceries, updated meal plans, started laundry and checked some email. I helped get Clint and the kids off before working the rest of the day away from home. That night we were so excited to receive our Halloween costume shipment. Maci wanted to be Little Red Riding Hood and so of course Connor had to be her big bad wolf - the wolf that laughs when he growls!! HA
Saturday - Maci and I are both starting to have a cough - thanks change of seasons! We got up and ready for dance and followed with some lunch and a little rest before apple orchard fun. Clint loves this time of year because his honeycrisp apples are in perfect picking at the orchards. The kids love this place and the pictures show it all.
"Mom, take a picture and send this to Aunt Molly - I am dressed like Aunt Molly"
Maci HATES Sun in her Eyes, can you tell?!
If she isn't a ballerina on ice, she just may become an equestrian 💜
Cow Train - A crowd favorite!
Corn Pit - So Fun.....until you get pulled out by your dad for throwing corn 🤣
Always posing
After apple orchard it was time for momma to get really excited - you see in the midst of this crazy week I scheduled a massage for me on Saturday at 5p seeing as my entire left side was a knotted up mess! It was exactly what I needed - the girl was a perfect mix of stretching, rubbing and commenting on how tight my neck and back was - yes, I was in pain! I totally fell asleep at the end and wanted to stay there for a while. Instead I headed home to brag about my experience. Once home, we spent some fun time with Ryan and Natalie/Stella as Jacey was out of town on a girls weekend and Ryan needed some much needed play date break time. The girls are so funny right now with Natalie and Maci both having HUGE imaginations and Stella attempting to keep up while Connor tags behind and just laughs at them. These kids have such sweet friendships that I hope last a lifetime. Oh and Sunday school is working when I overhear Maci trying to play church and her/Natalie were fighting over who got to be "The God" 🤣
Maci & Natalie as "queens" and Stella trying to be a Princess while Connor tries not to fall :)
Sunday - I am enjoying my Sunday morning coffee right now while Maci watches iPad, Clint watches his Dolphins game (early start since they are in London) and Connor still sleeps! Maci and I are off to church/Sunday school soon and Clint needs to pray from the couch given his Dolphins game. After church, I will watch (hopefully enjoy) my Bengals at noon. Maci was fortunate to get invited by her pal Tanyn as her plus 1 to her little sister Sienna's 3rd birthday party at the indoor treehouse today from 4-6p so we get to offload one kiddo a little before dinner. We also have a pot of chicken wild rice soup on and are looking forward to a chilly rainy indoor Sunday with lots of cuddles. There is no travel this week in our house so look forward to our group being all together. I am anxiously awaiting proofs for both school pictures and our family photos - will be sure to share when ready. We hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
