Picture Overload - School & Family Pics

Monday - Typically Maci would have gone to Ice Skating but she wasn't feeling so great with her cough so Clint let her stay home while I was at a work happy hour for the University Recruiting team.

Tuesday - We watched the Twins vs Yankees game but unfortunately there wasn't much to cheer for as the game went on - oh well there is always next year and they had a great season for a team that wasn't expected to do too much.

Wednesday - It has been a hectic last few weeks and I needed some down time with one of my kiddos.  Clint kept Maci and Connor and I did lil gym together.  He had a blast until the end when he got tired and was pissed the balls got put away.

Thursday - I got my flu shot at work and after work swung by urgent care to ensure I didn't have strep throat.  What a fun Thursday night :)  Good news - not strep!

Friday - I worked from home and Clint came home around lunch to finish packing and leave for Bass Lake with John (former neighbor) for guy's weekend.  They are going to do a lot of drinking and golf while I slave over the children HAHA.  I will get my turn though when I head to OSU with my mom and sisters in a few weeks for a girls weekend!

After school it was rainy so I made some tenders and we put Connor to bed before Maci played on the iPad.  While Maci played, I watched the Yankees vs Indians game since my buddy from college was brought in to close out the 9th and keep the Indians in contention - Nice Job Average Joe & Good Win Indians!!  During the game, I had fun texting with my college pals Christie and Neil - memory lane at its best.

Saturday -  Started the morning with a little Mary Poppins before we hit up the usual morning dance class (only 10 mins late with both kids and no dad) and followed by nap time.  Later in the day, we hit up an indoor playground which Maci did NOT want to leave so I tempted her with cupcakes from Yum Bakery as a treat on the way home.  After Connor went to bed, Maci played in her room while I enjoyed Sweet Home Alabama on the couch :)

Sunday - Dad is almost home!  We hit up church and Sunday school.  I was doing OK with Connor 1:1 until communion when he decided he was DONE sitting.  We paced around the back of church until it was time to pick up Maci and head home.  Clint arrived about 30 mins afterward and we just finished watching a great Bengals W and are hoping to see the Dolphins finish with the same.  After our games end we have some household things to tend to and some work to catch up on.  We are both off tomorrow since daycare closes for teacher in service every Columbus Day.  It is nice to have an extra day of the weekend to get some things done and just enjoy extra cuddles.
