The big kids LOVED Trick O Treating this year and man were they fast - long gone are the days of taking almost 20 mins per house :)  It was cold (coldest in 15 years) but the wind was minimal and it was dry so as long as you dressed appropriately, it wasn't too bad!  Connor also LOVED to chase the kids up to the door but he was the slow one and so we only let him do about 6 houses before he was sentenced to the stroller :)

The rest of the week flew by, per usual.  On Friday, I worked from home which was super productive.  While talking to a co-worker in the afternoon I looked outside to find huge wet snowflakes coming down and it was sticking!  It made for a pretty scene but oh man it is only Nov 3rd!  Clint got home around 5p and I had a pizza already delivered.  We ate a quick dinner and M couldn't wait to get outside in the snow.  That of course made C want to get out in the snow :)
I was on the phone with our Controller and this is what walks in to greet me HAHA
SNOW!  Maci explaining all the fun you can have out there.
M was adamant that snow balls are NOT allowed to be thrown near eyes. . . like dad did to her last year
HA her memory :)
Just enough snow for M to do a snow angel!
While I watched them play in the snow from the indoors, I also got to have a fun FaceTime chat and catch up with Christie, Chester and Avery!  Miss them 💜

Saturday - We had the usual dance in the morning.  As we were all talking and not paying attention (fairly common) one dad said "hey that music is coming from their room" (Note : we are use to all the big kids having the loud bumping fun music and not the 4/5 year old room) So we look up and see the room going nuts to the Cupid Shuffle HAHA.  Maci told us all about her dance party on the way home and needing to go to the left and right - Miss Heather is in a close running with Miss Kim (daycare) for her idol!  These girls are so stinking cute!
We had a lazy afternoon and then caught the HORRIBLE OSU game in the late afternoon.  I was texting with my Sister Molly who was taking it a tad harder than us.  I told her to take a nap and go out with friends later in the day, that will help you forget it :)  While the Buckeyes got whooped, Maci cracked us all up with her imagination.  Her sunglasses from a recent birthday party broke on one side but have no fear, she turns them into "old lady reading glasses."  🤣
After dinner Clint headed to John's with Ryan to help get a final boat out of the lake and let's be honest the main reason was to drink beer and watch football.  I was thinking of getting some work done but realized I needed a break so I caught up on some old Law & Orders (such a good binge show) and would socialize with Maci every so often - can't cramp her style.  Clint got home around the time I was heading to bed and yet another Saturday in the books.

Sunday - Cold and wet Sunday is what we have but the rain kind and not snow so no playing outside.  The kids don't understand falling back so M was up around the new 630a but watched a movie while I dozed back to sleep on the couch.  We are now off to church/Sunday school and will hopefully enjoy some NFL after mass.  I need to get some things prepped for the week ahead and would like to update our picture frames with the recent family and kid school pictures.  Going to be a nice little cozy Sunday in the house with the fire and some crock pot wild rice soup YUMMY!

We hope you all had a wonderfully cozy weekend and a great week ahead.
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
