Picture Day, Fall Sports, Grizzly Dash and Cooler Temps!

Weekdays:

  • Monday - Boomer had his annual vet appointment and is still kicking it at the ripe age of 14!  Clint ran Connor to soccer practice and I had Maci to hers.
They can be the cutest!
  • Tuesday - Picture Day!  The kids looked great and then I hurried to the office for our annual InspiHER conference.  I had a dinner and drinks after the conference and Clint managed Connor's flag football game with Maci.  Connor had some great blocks and they came away with a W!
Picture Day Ready!
  • Wednesday - That evening I took Maci to her soccer practice and caught up with my pal Christie on a quick video chat.  Clint was with Connor at his religion class.
Hot Tub Fun!
  • Thursday - Maci had a makeup soccer game from this past Saturday.  When we pulled up it was sunny and nice but then some drizzle came in and cooler temps.  The moms were freezing!  Maci had a killer goal in the first half and then had to take her turn in the goal for 2nd half.  The poor thing never saw any action - we crushed this team and she just sat back there in a ball freezing!  Connor also had a flag football game during this and was pretty fired up when I got to see him.  He had a running touchdown and had the game winning flag pull on someone breaking away on a run.  If that person scored, it would have tied the game but since he stopped it, they got the W!!  Yay Connor!
Friday :
  • Annual Grizzly Dash - cold, windy, rainy day BOO!
  • Connor ran at 920a and I got there right when it was over BUT they did it in the school gym due to the weather so he didnt realize I got there late, Clint was on time and we got some pictures after.  The teacher also sent a video so I got to see him run like crazy and "win" the race!
  • Maci ran at 1230p - her last one!  She was the first girl to finish, per usual and had a blast with her friends.  Dang they grow up fast!  I took my pics with her and then was out, dang I am not ready for this cold!
  • We would have gone to the Grizzly Gathering that night but it was so dang cold!  Instead, Maci and her neighborhood pals played outside at our house and then asked for a slumber party at Harper's house.  All 4 of those girls slept over at Harpers and they are just the sweetest friends!
  • Connor and Clint watched "The Great Wall" and I got to catch up on Bravo junk TV!

Saturday :
  • I picked up Maci at 830a - she quickly told me they went to bed at 2a, great HA
  • Connor had a soccer game at 9a and they tied - it was the first comparable team they played and fun to see them work hard!
  • Maci had gymnastics at 10a but we picked her up 30 mins early for their annual flu shots.
  • Both kids were brave and agreed they barely felt it when we were leaving.
  • A quick lunch and we were home for some nap times and yard work for Clint
  • We were supposed to have a date night but our sitter got sick.
  • Instead we invited Nate and his high school buddies plus Tena over for football, golden tee and drinks - fun time!
Found him like this when it was time to get ready for soccer HA
Soccer Ready #4!
Sunday
  • Busy morning of getting things done around the house!
  • Maci had a birthday party for Livi at 130p - a painting party :)
  • Clint's Dolphins won!
  • We picked up Maci from the birthday party and were off to her final regular fall season soccer game vs Tonka, their main rivals
  • We crushed it with a 3-0 W and had utter domination from start to finish - that was fun!  Maci played tough and fast, love it!
  • After we went to Red Robin for some dinner where I got to watch the end of the Bengals game, a big W - yay!
  • We got home for showers and evening time prep
Maci and her Birthday Buddy Livi
