- Monday - Connor had an ortho apt and then joined a few buddies at MBT Basketball camp from 9a-3p. Maci had day 1 of TFE try outs and felt good coming out of them. Connor had a baseball game in the evening vs Eden Prairie and we got the W knocking them out of the league playoffs. Afterward we hosted the Janko's for the men's horrible US game followed by some outdoor hanging with a cocktail.
- Tuesday - Another day of MBT camp for Connor, this time it was Jersey day. Maci had day 2 and final day of tryouts and felt really good after this day - said she was having a great day on the pitch! Connor had baseball practice in the evening. I crashed early as I was spent after trying to get back in the swing of things post PTO!
- Wednesday - Woke up to some missed emails including the one that said Maci made TFE again!! Yay!!! Her entire crew stays together but one girl left for MTA, one didnt try out and we had an open spot so 3 new girls!! Now Maci gets to just enjoy the down time before it all starts back up again in Mid August. Day 3 of MBT for Connor (neon day) and I wrapped my day with a hair cut/color at Urban Eve. I really liked the results with this new girl and about 1/2 the price of what I was shelling out at Juut.

Proof of Life
- Thursday - Final Day of MBT for Connor man. Maci did a training haus fitness class. I had a facial and brow wax to end my day! It was amazing. I then chatted with the baseball coaches for a bit as they were over for state tourney preparations before heading to bed.
Friday:
- I had a morning full of meetings
- Clint got the Toyota serviced early in the morning
- He, Connor and Maci headed to game 1 of Connor's for the Gopher State Tourney at 10a while I finished calls - they got the W in a tighter than it probably should have been at the end game.
- I then wrapped up my work and hauled out to meet them for the 2p game in the HOT sun! We once again pulled out the W with Connor getting on the bump to end it and in such sweet fashion with the last batter being a strike out!!!! Maci screamed "that's my brother" and we all had some good smiles.
- We hauled out of there with plans to go to the Cosmic baseball game BUT everyone was hot tired and not wanting to stay up late so we ate the tickets and instead headed to the club to dip in the pool and then go to bed early.

Saturday:
- Game 3 of pool play was at 9a and once again we pulled out a good W against a strong team - Connor again got to get on the bump and end it with a strike out!
- We went to a golf course for some lunch in between which turned out to be a great way to cool off in their AC before another hot one.
- We were now in bracket play so lose and go home. Once again we lost in the same game as last year! We played a tough team from way up north with kids the size of Clint. . .I don't know how they were 10. They were hitting and we were not fielding - bottom line. Connor had a great game and was pretty emotional when it ended. However, his coach said some great words to him and we got him to head up to the pool with us to cool off and have some fun. We wrapped the night with a yummy late dinner in the club dining room. Silver lining, we get our Sunday back now!
Dug Out Fun
Sunday:
- Super productive day on a super hot summer Sunday!
- We debated going to the pool or to the Rodeo parade but everyone was just so sick of the sun and heat that we stayed around the house instead.
- Connor played video games and Maci zoned on her phone. Clint ran some errands for us and I got a whole lot of needs around the house complete. We never feel caught up but it felt good to put a dent in the to do list.
- After dinner we all headed up to the high school to watch Connor and team play in their 3v3 league. It was clear they were all tired from a hot weekend and rusty from 4th of July weekend off. . . HA but they won game #2 and we all went home with a smile.
Ready to call it a weekend and hope this next heat wave isnt as bad as they think. . . dang summer you are kicking in! :)
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
