We are back in Minneapolis, well actually we have been back since this past Monday evening but that also meant we went right back to work, daycare and the business of life! Sorry for the 2 week delay but I have a lot of fun pictures from our Ohio visit and from before/after as well.
Let's see - before we left to Ohio on Friday, Jun 20th - Maci had a few fun days at daycare and of course that means great pictures from our favorite teachers!
Maci climbed into the sand table
Ms Emmy kept taking her out and saying "Maci you could fall down"
The last time she took her out she didn't say anything so Maci said "FALL DOWN"
This girl is too smart for her own good!
This girl LOVES water days!
Oh and she LOVES Art!!
Then on Friday we were off to Cincinnati! Maci did amazing on her first plane ride - slept from take off to almost landing. When she woke, she said hi to people and ate a cookie!
Once we got to Cincinnati, we were greeted by my mom (thank you!) and after we got our belongings settled, we were off to Skyline Chili for lunch and to see my baby sister, Molly. Maci ate some of her hot dog/cheese but mainly enjoyed the Oreo that came with it as dessert.
That night, my parents held an "open house" party at their place for all our friends/family that were around and would like to see us since it was only going to be a long weekend. It was so great to see so many of our family members and parents good friends.
Thanks Aunt Marilyn for the family pics!
Saturday morning we were off to the lake, after breakfast at Price Hill Chili of course! We picked up my niece, Sophie, on the way up so she could help my parents babysit Maci that night. They had a BLAST together, so sweet! This is them playing in the boat/raft in the backyard - yep, this is what we do for fun =)
Cant forget fun with licorice - thanks Grandma!
Saturday night, Clint and I were off to Dayton for the wedding reception of my good college friend Cassy and her husband Kevin. It was so great to see so many of my WSU college girls! There were lots of laughs and often the realization that we are now "old" HA the majority of the conversations focused on parenting, jobs, hell probably retirement savings too - no matter what we are discussing, I enjoy doing it with these ladies!
Besties!!!
The Gorgeous Bride in her Beach Wedding Dress!
Sunday was a super fun family day with ALL of my siblings making it out to the lake! Meghan and Preston even made it after just getting in from Europe the night before, thanks guys!! I love when the whole family can get together, so many laughs!
Looking good kid - waiting on the family to arrive
Lunch fun with Crazy "GREAT" Aunt Sue
Aunt Meghan comforting our potentially sea sick lil lady!
Yea - someone is not feeling great or is just HOT
HA - Family Pic!
We stink at selfies!
Poor Clint has tried to tube on my parents boat 2x - I have never - this pic would be why
Is that even an adult life jacket?!
It wouldn't be a visit with my family and parents if we didn't take a million pics that my mom swears will be in the Christmas card but need excessive cropping to remove : laundry, bikes, Steelers lawn furniture etc.
Grandma/Grandpa Gilroy and their Gilroy Grand kids!
Ditto but now add in their great grand kids from those grand kids - minus Kaylen :(
Gilroy Grand Kids
The Mondell's - Best pic of Maci - that says a lot!
Oh these are so priceless - especially knowing their moms
Meghan's son Preston and his cousin Maci - Ummm they really did have fun together
OR ummm will one day ;-)
Yep - just another day with my Siblings :)
Would love for the next group gathering to be in Minneapolis (during warm weather!)
Most people left that night after the World Cup US Soccer game - ugh a tie!
YUP Only OSU gear in these parts kid!
However, we weren't flying home until Monday night so my mom and the Mondells were kind enough to stick around at the lake with us for one more day. The Mondell's left after breakfast and we tried to get a pick with Maci, again best we could get! After taking some walks, running errands etc, we decided to take Maci to the beach and why I didn't think this fish would want to play in the water, I do not know!
Looking Good Grandma!
Until next time!
Lots of Love,
C, K & M
