The Week of Hugs!

Maci has become enamored with giving hugs which is so darn cute!  She loves to give mommy & daddy big hugs and enjoys getting them in return too.  She has also taken to hugging Boomer, her friends and now even friends' dog too ;-)

The weather this past week was gorgeous and I wrapped up my last week of Co Active Coaching training, by far the best work training I have ever been through.  The crazy work weeks are coming to an end and now I am back to my more "normal" busy load (which I enjoy).  Maci is getting adjusted to her big girl bed and some days are better than others.  She has been known to sleep on the floor once in a while but that is her call if she won't stay in her bed.

This Thursday evening we wrapped up swim lessons for the session and we are skipping summer sessions since we have quite a few trips, lake and pool days planned so she will still get water practice.

After graduation from swim, we went to our usual Applebee's with the Cassem Family and as usual (at least lately) our lil girls were total TERRORS at the dinner table.  Jaycee and I spent half the night outside with our girls or playing in the waiting area of the restaurant.  At least Maci decided to show Natalie her new obsession with giving hugs and that made us smile.

Saturday evening we went over the Zehr's house for a BBQ in honor of John's birthday earlier in the week.  The kids are so funny together, fighting over toys about 90% of the evening but us forcing it to appear that they want to play together :)  Maci fell in love with Harper's dog Oliver.  Check out these cutie pics. . . yes Harper rides his dog!

Today we had a relaxing Sunday at home.  Clint had to leave to Jackson Hole Wyoming for a quick trip, he will be back Tuesday night.  Maci and I spent the afternoon together getting things done around the house and playing.  She is finishing dinner now and after bath time I will hopefully get a little R&R while she sleeps and before my weekend wraps up.
