If you were curious, I left it where I found it, text this picture to Clint who was still asleep and said "take care of it!" BLAH
The week was still a crazy hectic one for me and work but I am thankful for such a wonderful hubby who doesn't make me feel guilty at all and has been playing Mr Mom and Dad these past few weeks. I am ready for it to wrap up and this coming week "should" be the last real crazy one. What a relief!!
This weekend was fairly relaxing with lots of Thunderstorms providing some much needed rain but a damper on any outdoor plans. Saturday morning was Lil Gym graduation for Maci and her friends Natalie & Harper. It was so cute and I even had one little tear fall, how will I ever handle the "real" big moments?! The teacher had such cute things to say about Maci when she received her Medal and "Congrats" card. I put the video on Facebook but can't seem to get it to work here. . .check it out!
We think Maci is going to miss this place but she will move from "little birds" to "beasts" in the fall for next year's program. The title of "beasts" sure is fitting for our kiddos at times! ;-)
Later Saturday, we met up with an old friend of Clint's from when he worked at some nightclubs during college. His oldest daughter was graduating high school and lives in the Stillwater area so he, his wife and 2 younger kids came up for a long weekend to MN. We met them at the Mall of America for the Aquarium (where Maci ran through the entire thing like a bat out of hell) and then we had dinner at Dick's Last Resort (where Maci also wanted to run around, she was quite hyper). Thankfully their younger kids are 7 and 10 and they LOVED playing babysitter to Maci so I got to take a few breaks of running after our crazy girl!
When we woke up today I heard Clint say "HOLY SHIT" from Maci's room. Turns out we have a climber! UGH. . . we knew this day was getting close. She not only climbed from the crib but she climbed on top of her changing table which is where Clint found her when he walked in. Seeing as this isn't safe for her and could be a big fall, we had to spend an unplanned hour turning her crib into the Toddler bed with the conversion kit. I am so NOT ready for this kid to be on the loose!
We hope this is how she sleeps without a full crib!
The New Set Up - Say Some Prayers!
Lots of Love,C, K & M
