Long Weekend Fun!

We had a really busy and hectic week but we are so excited to be enjoying a 4 day long weekend!

Friday - Finally we made it!  It was a nice quiet day around the office which finally gave me an opportunity to get some things done and make some necessary headway on a variety of open topics.  I then had a 1-3p meeting with Latin America before sending a few final emails and hitting the road.  I left work around 4p and grabbed my kiddos before meeting Clint at home for Friday pizza!  We then took a family walk and enjoyed Popsicles on the porch - Yay to 4 stay home days in a row!!!

Saturday - 1st of 4 fun stay home days!  We had bagel breakfast and Maci and I went to the movies at 1130a to watch Minions 3 while Connor napped and Clint cut the grass.  Such a fun date with my little lady.  After nap time, we headed to the splash pad and playground.  We did a quick change at home and then ate dinner at Maynard's on Lake Minnetonka.  We did a drive around the lake before heading home and putting Connor to bed and watching some Pretty Little Liars on the couch.  What a great 1st day off!

Sunday - 2nd of 4 stay home days!  Today we got up and moving pretty quick so we could get to the zoo early!  We hadn't been yet since the Kangaroo exhibit opened - what a gorgeous day for a trip around the zoo - we had a blast and stayed for almost 4 whole hours.

Connor is now napping and Maci is having quiet time.  We may play in the backyard and get dinner shortly.  We have some super fun plans for day 3 and day 4.  We are heading to the beach tomorrow morning and then Egan Fun Fest tomorrow evening for Carnival fun and fireworks.  Then on the 4th we are playing to do a potential parade, pool and then some cleaning around the house (later afternoon thunderstorms) before attempting to see fireworks from our house.  We all have an early morning on Wednesday back at school/work but we have 2 1/2 days until we have to worry about that!  After a few quick days at work and school, we are off to our friends the Verplank's cabin for a camp out for the next weekend.  SUMMER FUN!
