- Enjoyed some R&R and a ride on the Peloton
- Showered up and got ready for Christmas mass at 5p

Tuesday - Christmas Day!!
- Santa Came!!! We started opening around 730a :)
- We spent almost the whole morning and early afternoon opening boxes, putting together toys and making a mess of the house - so fun!
- During Connor's nap, Maci helped me clean the entire playroom with a few huge bags for donation and a few others for the trash - I love reorganizing this time of year and updating their toys for age appropriate fun!
- At 6p we headed out for our 2nd annual bowling, beer and pizza at Park Tavern
- The kids LOVE to bowl and I was horrible that night but the beer and pizza tasted great - Maci said it was the best pizza ever!!

Wednesday -
- Ran a few errands : post office, Goodwill etc before heading to Connor's 3 year check up
- He is 80% weight and 50% height - did great on his vision check and needed 0 shots this time around - we talked about his potty training fun and got some good tips to ensure this go around sticks :)
- Afterward, Connor took a nap, Clint did a long Peloton ride and Maci/I headed to the movies to watch Mary Poppins Returns (so cute!)
- We had a lazy late afternoon and some cocktails in the hot tub at night while it started to snow
Thursday -
- Lots of To Do Lists today before we head to Ohio for the New Year and Round 2 of Christmas Fun!
- The heavy wet snow really started fall today as well
- Kids played outside in the snow for a little bit while we cleaned the house
- Lots of Laundry ran and Christmas decor tore down so it is one less thing we need to do when we get home in the new year
- Completed all the packing at night so could sleep until about 630a before our flight

Telling Mary How Excited Boomer is for Her to Take Care of Him Starting Friday!
Friday -
- Flight was supposed to be at 10a but we ended up taking off at noon - UGH!
- Kids rocked the flight with lots of coloring (NO WIFI) and games/snacks etc.
- Landed in Dayton, grabbed the rental car and hit the road to Toledo (after a Skyline stop of course!)
- Arrived in Toledo around 6p, did a quick hello & change at Clint's parents and then headed to our evening plans with the Demko's and Gilsdorf's
- We had so much fun with such good long term friends that we forgot what time it was and finally Clint noted we should head to bed at 230a - oh and Maci/Connor and other kids were still up too!!!

Saturday - - Ouch were we all tired!!! Kids slept in until 10a. Clint and I were dragging.
- After swapping some gifts with Vivian & Connor (we are each other's godparents) - we were off to show our kids the Waffle House
- Got back to the Mondell's house for Christmas fun (too much fun and no pictures!)
- We opened gifts with the Mondell family and had lots of laughs over the Shark tooth game before many of us started to crash for late naps
- We watched the 2 playoff games for NCAA football and I took the kids with me to crash at halftime of the 2nd game - we were so dead!
Sunday -
- Up and at 'em around 9a to head to Indian Lake for the 2nd half of our Ohio visit.
- Arrived at my parents around the noon NFL games - caught up with them and waited on Molly to arrive
- Once Molly arrived, we did our Christmas exchange (too much fun and no pictures!)
- We then all settled in for the 425p games (Vikings vs Bears and Bengals vs Steelers) - we were all surprised how well the Bengals looked and dang it Vikings
- After the games, Clint and I played some Scategories with Molly and her boyfriend Tommy before we all crashed around 10p (still dragging!)
Grandpa & Connor Fun
So Much Warmer Than Last Year!!!
Monday - NYE!
- We all got up somewhat early as we had to drive 1 hour to my niece Hailey's 3rd birthday party at Chuckie Cheese by 1130a
- After the party, we were going straight to my brother's house in Dayton to get ready for our NYE sibling fun!
- Our dinner reservations were for 4p at the Oakwood Club so we piled into Uber's at 330p
- As you may imagine we were the only people under 60 in the restaurant at that hour but we had so many great laughs and headed back to my brother's around 7p for drinks and games
- The kids were all super pumped to see us when we got home but we got them settled with movies in the basement and started in on Telestrations and Cards Against Humanity with the adults
- We had so many gosh darn laughs and then had to realize it was almost midnight so we could pause, enjoy the countdown and put Maci (last Mondell kid standing at 12) to bed
- Clint and I called it a night around 2a (we need a vacation from our vacation!! HA)

Tuesday - New Years Day!
- So we no sooner go to bed and Connor starts moaning - we realize he is BURNING up!
- We get a cold wash cloth on him and put him back down.
- He proceeds to breathe heavy and moan every hour on the hour
- Around 7a Clint gets up and ran to Kroger to get Children's Tylenol
- At 8a we decide to just get up and get rolling to get him back to my parents
- However, while doing so we realize his breathing and heart rate were not normal so we took him to urgent care across the street and left M with my brother/sister and crew
- Unfortunately urgent care wasn't open so we went to the ER which seemed like the right move given his heart rate was high, his temp was still at 102 and the chest x-ray showed inflammation.
- Thankfully the influenza and strep tests were negative and he started to sweat/break his fever while we were there for 1 hour
- They gave us an oral steroid while we were there, told us to keep up on tylenol every 6 hours and to start using his nebulizer as it is likely a respiratory virus like RSV or bronchitis
- We got back to my brother's around 10a - said our goodbye's, grabbed M and Molly/Tommy and headed back to Indian Lake
- Once we got here everyone crashed and my mom kindly played with M (the only one who slept HA)
- We spent the rest of our day packing up all our stuff so we are ready for our flight tomorrow and now watching the OSU Buckeyes kill Washington
- We are all about to crash again before breakfast with my parents in the morning and then our early afternoon flight home
Poor Buddy!!
Welcome Back Neb!
