Crazy Compensation Week & Girl Scout Cookie Prep

This week was pretty nutty with the compensation process concluding at my new company and me attempting to dive right in.  As busy as it was, I am so glad I got to be here for this because it was a great way to build rapport with new leaders and my HR team in the very early days.  I continue to enjoy the company, culture, colleagues and ability I have to make an impact.  However, I was quite tired heading into the weekend!  Clint was a rock star spouse/daddy by taking on so many to dos for us this week.  Connor is slowly getting use to his new school but started to have some accidents at school again this week - out of nowhere UGH!  Maci had a great week at school and is so ready for her birthday this coming week!

Wednesday

• Maci had gymnastics - last session of Term 2 - next week starts Term 3 and Connor starts a 3 year old class at the same night/time frame.  Connor is so excited!

Friday

• I hung at work until 830p closing up a few of the must do compensation things before the long holiday weekend (we get Monday off for MLK Jr)
• Clint ordered pizza for the kids and then took them for ice cream at Culvers (Connor had 0 accidents & Maci was a good girl at school/helper for dad)!
• Clint and I ended the night in the hot tub before I crashed at 930p HA

Saturday

• Dance - Maci is waiting for her 2nd costume with baited breathe
• Soccer - Maci is a mini machine - she scored 3 awesome goals in their scrimmage
• Ran to Ridgedale Mall to get Clint a new dress coat and lunch
• Took some quick naps
• Got ready for Date Night with my former co-worker Stacy and her husband Luke
• Ate Yummy Benihana 
• Called ourselves OLD for all crashing around 9p
• Went to bed before 10p again HAHA

Sunday 

• Connor has been begging us to go to the "chicken place" by our house - the yummy countryside cafe so we went for breakfast
• Quickly cleaned up the house
• Hosted Maci's girl scout troop for their monthly meeting
• A ton of to dos around the house
• Enjoyed NFL games - stupid Patriots!
• Attempted to catch up on work

So excited for a day off tomorrow with Maci girl - the boys have work/school.  I have to get some things done but for the most part we are going to purchase her birthday party goodie bags, get her haircut, our nails done and show up to Connor's school around 4p for an art event.  I am also looking forward to a week with a little more calm than the one prior :)
