11 Years of Marital Bliss & Backstreet's Back Alright!

Monday : 

• 1st full week of work and daycare in a long time with Holidays and mini vacations etc.
• We all survived!!

Tuesday : 

• After daycare, we had dinner and then Connor had soccer at 715p
• He was so not in a "in it to win it" mood so we left with 10 minutes to spare and played on a playground instead :)

Wednesday : 

• My head of HR was in town so after work many of us got together and had a fun dinner at Chino Latino
• Clint held down the fort with the kiddos and played in the neighborhood before bed

Thursday : 

• I had a town hall for work in Eden Praire at Optum HQ so afterward I worked from home
• Had a productive day then ran to get the kids so Clint could pick up his John Deere from getting serviced - darn belt issue but Clint was so glad to have his baby back

Friday : 

• Happy 11 Years C-dell!!!  
• It was basically as hot as it was on our wedding day.  
• MN was 95 degrees but with like 75 dew point so the air was just moist and they said it felt like 110 YUCKY
• Clint grabbed carry out for dinner while I got the kids
• After kiddo bedtime, we headed over to the Harty's to have cocktails on the patio along with some other neighbors (also Cargill people) the Sullivan's
• A fun night of laughing until way too late - 1a YIKES

Saturday: 

• The heat brought on storms and it was a wet cool day until about 2p 
• I ran errands and Clint cleaned around the house while the kids played dress up
• Tena and I went to an open house in the neighborhood to well snoop and be nosey
• Afterward, I had to get ready for my big concert night out with Megan and Jess (former Cargill HR co-workers and friends)
• I left the house around 5p and picked up Jess, met Megan at the hotel and then went to dinner
• The concert was Backstreet Boys and it was corny and absolutely fun!
• While we concerted our kids played outside with the neighbors and Clint had his buddy John (former neighbor) over for Golden Tee, music, fire and drinks.
• Jess headed home to her lil baby afterward (4 month old Claire!) while Megan and I hit the town.  We are proud to say we made it to 2 bars and BAR CLOSE 2a!
• We stayed up chatting until about 245a before crashing in our hotel.  Such a fun night!!!!

Sunday : 

• Woke up at 730a because well that is what mom's do even if they are DEAD!
• Got around and walked to get a coffee with Megan.
• Said our goodbyes and I got home by about 9a to enjoy coffee on the deck with Clint - I need more coffee!!!
• Burned Christmas Trees with the Harty's at the top of our hill in the burn pile around 1030a
• Hung out with Tena while the guys kept burning stuff and our kids played at her house
• Came home around noon for lunch
• Connor is now napping, Maci is watching iPad, Clint is mowing and I am about to take a power nap after having done the floors, made lunch and finished laundry!!!
• At 3p we are heading to the Harty's for some family swim time - gorgeous 80 and sunny!
• We are all going to grill chicken kabobs at their house and then serve up some ice cream before baths/bed.  Damn we love our neighbors!!
• We will crash early and hard tonight!!

Looking forward to a 4 day week ahead with the annual Dells trip this coming weekend!
