We love our ‘hood in the Fall!

- Monday - Connor still had the day off school so Clint took him to his chiropractor appointment in the morning. I was at the office and had lunch with an external search firm to chat hiring needs. I got to wrap the day with dinner and drinks at Sunshine Factory with my fav soccer moms - Kristi, Kari and Kim. It was so good to see them after we all got split up on the sidelines after this year’s try outs. Maci then had practice at 730p which Clint took her to and I picked her up on my way home - 9p end.
- Tuesday - Fun day with heading out of the office and visiting 3 Genoa pharmacies in the twin cities area in the morning. Then in the afternoon I attended our Rx QBR during the Pharmacy section. I headed out of work around 4p and did a super quick happy hour with my 2 fav tech leaders and friend/former coworker Nicole. Clint ran Maci to practice for me at 6p and I picked her up at 730p. While we were doing soccer, Clint and Connor had basketball practice from 630-8p.
- Wednesday - I worked from home because Maci had an early soccer tournament up in Blaine. I took back to back calls all day and then peeled out of the driveway around 345p. Maci jumped in my car at 410p when school let out and we were off to Blaine. I wanted to get there by 5p but we made it by 510p. I helped all the girls get into their zombie gear since this was a Halloween themed 5v5 tournament. We played up in the u13 age group even though we are u12. We stomped 2 of the teams but struggled with the 3rd team who was super top talented u13 players. We won our bracket though and had to face them again in the championship game, which didn’t kick off until 10p on a school night - ouch! Clint and Connor left after game 3 and ahead of the championship. We told the girls to be proud of 2nd place and for scoring on that team. Maci left the tourney with 2 goals in 2 of the games so 4 total on the day. She also ripped one in game 3 (one of the games she had 2 goals in) that the goalie stopped but then left the game and headed to the Urgent Care with a potential fractured wrist, Maci has some power for sure - WOW and Ouch - we hope she was ok! Maci and I got home a little before midnight and were in bed by 1230a. Such a fun night but dang will we be tired!

- Thursday - Connor got to sleep in and Clint drove him to school vs making him get up for the bus, we were all tired! Connor had a scrimmage at his basketball practice from 600-730p which I ran him to and from because Clint had the baseball coaches over for drinks to thank them for the fall season. Maci was supposed to have practice at 7p but thankfully due to rain it was cancelled so after getting Connor home, I curled into bed and rested the rest of the evening.
Friday :
- Super busy meeting day for a Friday but got a lot done!
- Clint went to golf in the afternoon and is thankful for such a beautiful fall that allows him to still golf in late Oct.
- Maci got picked up for a slumber party with Rowan at 530p.
- I kept getting some stuff done for work and around the house before enjoying some Punch pizza with Connor and Clint.
- We enjoyed a dip in the hot tub and then watching some football, basketball and Law and Order in bed.
Saturday :
- Started the day with Connor and Clint heading to basketball practice from 900-1030a.
- Maci got dropped off at our house around 1030a and I then ran Maci to her Gymnastics at 11a.
- Clint picked up Maci from Gymnastics at 1230p while I got ready for the day.
- She and I then ran up to the Infiniti Soccer Training open house. We bought a new soccer t and she had some ice cream.
- Once we all got ready, we were off to Apple Jacks orchard for our annual fall trip - Clint got his honeycrisp apples, I got some new fall decor for the house and the kids had a blast getting candy and doing all the fall activities they have for kids.
- We left around 5p when they were closing.
- I headed home and took a quick nap before we left to the MN Zoo for the Jack O Lantern annual trip. We had tickets for 8p and dang was it packed - maybe we don’t do the weekend before Halloween in the future! However, it was cool as ever and we enjoyed ourselves for about 2 hours.
- We got home around 11p and crashed while watching tv.

Sunday :
- Damn those Bengals and Dolphins!
- Maci had a gorgeous day for her final outdoor Sunday practice from 130-300p while I worked on my puzzle and watched the Bengals completely implode in the 4th quarter.
- Clint is getting yard work completed. Connor is shooting hoops. Maci is wandering the ‘hood with her pal Kate and I am getting ready for the week while eyeing my puzzle that I want to get back to.
