Weekdays:

• Monday - Boomer had his annual vet appointment and for the ripe age of 15, he is doing great!  I worked from home b/c miss Maci and I had Sabrina Carpenter concert at night! Good thing I was home b/c the school called and said Connor was with the nurse complaining of a bad headache.  So I ran and grabbed him while Clint was at the vet with Boomer.  Poor buddy looked rough and slept from like 930a until 2p.  Maci got home a little before 5p, we quickly got ready and were off to Hell’s Kitchen for dinner with Violet, her mom Kim and Violet’s sister and a friend.  We went to the concert and Maci had an absolute blast!  I was super proud of my parking ninja move which had us out of the concert at the very end but not waiting in a garage for ever and ever to get out.  We were actually home and in bed by 1030p - Yay!

• Tuesday - Clint got an oil change for my Volvo in the morning.  After work, I hustled to Greenwood for Connor’s conference.  Mrs Hembre said he is doing great work and agrees he is naturally quite smart.  While I was managing conference, Clint ran Maci to and from soccer practice.  Then at 830p, we hopped on a zoom call with Maci’s advisory teacher for her conference.  We heard what we all know about Maci - she is a ray of sunshine, so positive, constantly smiling, hard working and an inclusive friend.  We are so proud of the person each of them are becoming!
• Wednesday - MEA fall break already started for the kids so they slept in while I headed into the office.  Clint ran Maci to her indoor Infiniti training at 530p and then I met her there to do some work while waiting for her to wrap at 730p.
• Thursday - Yay PTO!  It is also Boomer’s 15th Birthday!!!  We slept in, slowly got up and packing and were on our way to Grandview Resort up North around 12p.  We stopped at a Mexican restaurant for a late lunch.  Once at the lodge, we played football/soccer passing while waiting for our cabin to be ready.  We had dinner at the Pub while the kids won way too many of those damn ducks!

Friday:

• Up and at ‘em - we headed up to the breakfast buffet to start the day.
• Clint left us at the end of breakfast to go play 9 at the Pines course at 10a.
• The kids didn’t want to swim so we did some things around the resort and then had some down time in the cabin before the Fikes made it.
• Fikes got there late afternoon and we played outside a bit, then went swimming and finally were off to Zorbaz for pizza dinner!
• After dinner, Maci and Emmett watched the kiddos while the adults walked the 20 feet to the pub for drinks and cheering on the MN Lynx WNBA team.
• Once home, we kept rolling with some drinks outside while the kids were enjoying UTube shorts on the TV inside.

Saturday:

• Another gorgeous day!  We enjoyed some coffee then went to the brunch buffet
• We came back, got ready and were off to downtown Nisswa for some shopping, college football/brews and a late lunch.  Connor got a book and some jammies, Maci got a sweatshirt, sweater, book and pajama pants.  I got a nice new sweater and a really cute casual jacket.
• We headed back to the resort to do pumpkin painting - Connor did a spooky view, I did a Bengal pumpkin and we all had a good time.
• We tried to go on a bike ride but they didn’t have enough bikes so we took a walk instead.
• We hung out for a bit before our dinner reservation at Bar Harbor.  YUM!
• The kids did great at dinner and we had a really nice meal.
• We came home, put the littler kids to bed and then taught Maci/Emmett how to play 31 card game and we had a blast doing so.  The adults then stayed up watching the GA vs TX game.

Sunday:

• We are now on the haul home - 2 hour drive.
• We should get home in a few just after the 12p games’ kick offs.
• I have oodles of laundry to do and weekend prep to get moving.
• Maci and I have a nail appointment at 230p for toes and fingers YAY
• Other than that, we are enjoying football and getting everything ready for a normal week.
