Connor’s New Closet, Several Happy Hour Catch Ups and End of Flag Football!

Weekdays:
  • Monday - I worked from home on Monday and started my day with a breakfast date with TammyLynne, neighbor.  She wanted to treat me for my promotion which was very sweet and it was nice catching up with her.  Connor had his final flag football practice with Clint before I took Maci to her late (800-930p) soccer practice.  I curled up in the car and watched some Real Housewives on my phone in comfy sweats.
  • Tuesday - I headed into the office to get my flu shot at our onsite Dr office.  Thankfully this one wasn’t super noticeable nor did my arm hurt the next day!  I then met up with a gal pal and former co-worker Stacy for some Happy Hour after work.  I then hauled to pick up Maci from her soccer practice at 8p.
Connor School Pics Came!
  • Wednesday - Another work from home day and Connor got a new CA closet install.  It looks so awesome and makes his closet work so much better.  We also sold his baby dresser for $40.  Yay purging!  Rosie got groomed and we sent her about a week too late so she is a little more shaved than we prefer.  At night, Connor had his final flag football game.  Maci and I both went, finally, as she didn’t have practice conflicting.  Connor was a defensive beast!!!  He ended the game with a QB “sack” by blitzing the QB and getting his flag before he could do anything.  Go Connor man!  Maci and I then ran to her INFINITI training, she is being able to make it to more of these now that her TFE practice schedule is easing up.
What a team!
I find it funny Connor is in the middle and Brooks (not Clint’s kid) is standing right with him -
I already refer to Brooks as Clint’s 2nd son HA
Silly Boys
  • Thursday - Back to the office for me as we had a good 2 hour QBR meeting prep together across pharmacies.  That evening I had happy hour/dinner with a friend/former co-worker Brenda.  It was so great to catch up, hear about her grown kids and first grand baby!  I then hustled from there to get Maci and take her to another 800-930p soccer practice while Clint did a bourbon tasting with his neighborhood bourbon buddies.
Friday:
  • I slept in a bit after feeling exhausted Friday morning.
  • Productive morning meetings ahead of my Dysport Apt at 11a.
  • I grabbed Clint and I some Chick Fil A for lunch on my way home.
  • I then got some more work done before Clint and I took a walk before Maci got home from school.
  • Once the kids were settled, Clint and I were off to Cov for a little date night dinner/drinks.  It is so great to have Maci at an age where she can handle a few hours home alone with Connor.
  • After a fairly quick dinner, we took a walk down to 6 Smith for one more cocktail.
  • Once home, we wrapped our night with a dip in the hot tub - dang I love fall!
Saturday:
  • I ran Maci to gymnastics while Clint had a massage at the same time.
  • He picked her up and brought her home after his apt ended.
  • I was resting at home as I felt a bit sluggish after a few cocktails the night before.
  • We watched college football (Toledo got embarrassed) and got some things done around the house.
  • I then ran Maci over to Livi’s at 3p for her 12th birthday party and sleepover.
  • We ordered some dinner and got comfy for the OSU game - frustrating last second loss by 1 point - ugh!!!
  • We watched the Colorado game in bed and I zonked at some point while Connor likely kept watching football :)

Best of Friends
Sunday:
  • Slept like a baby at our house and no one was up moving until 9a
  • Clint ran to pick up Maci from Livi’s at 10a and then ran a few errands for me
  • Maci had a soccer practice in the early afternoon
  • Afterward, Violet and her dad, Mike, came over.  Maci and Vi are making bracelets for our concert tomorrow night - Sabrina Carpenter!!  Mike and Clint are putting heat coils up in our gutters so that we don’t get an ice damn above our porch this year.  Thank goodness Mike is a contractor and knows what he is doing :)
  • They will all head home around dinner, we are going to eat some chicken and then settle in for the Bengals game.  Please do not ruin my Sunday night Bengals!
Here’s to a short week thanks to Minnesota Fall break (MEA)!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
