Maci had her 2nd week of Ice Skating on Monday night and she was so excited that the whole house was healthy and we were able to go watch her as a family!  She is really enjoying this class and can't wait to learn leaps and spins HA!  I won't break it to her that she may learn that in a more advanced class.
On Tuesday she started her 3 week long sports camp - Lil Rookies.  It is at 515p at a local park on Tues/Thurs for the 3 weeks.  This means Mom is having to get her rump moving to get there on time!  The first week was Soccer which Maci seemed to enjoy but wasn't near as aggressive as some of the boys so she would stand there a bit intimidated during the "game."  However, she asks me each morning if she has sports camp that night so seems she is enjoying it.
We also lost power on Tuesday due to some fluke issue with a power line so I headed back into work after sports camp to get some much needed catch up completed.  Clint put kids to bed and enjoyed cocktails with the neighbors outside.  When I got home around 1030p they were still outside so I decided to join in. . . I proceeded to be exhausted on Wednesday but it was a fun evening and some R&R that was much needed.
Maci had a librarian visit on Wednesday
Connor took a trip on a scooter - So Happy!
Thursday was already sports camp again and it was a GORGEOUS night so we decided to eat at Maynard's on Lake Minnetonka - Good Choice!  It was great weather, good food and the kids were entertained by feeding ducks and fish.
Friday - We ate the usual pizza and hung around the house.  We ordered groceries so we didn't have to figure them out any other time over the weekend.  I then zonked on the couch after a busy go/go week around 9p.  It was a much needed lazy evening at home.

Saturday - BUSY FUN SATURDAY!  We started the day with daddy running errands and mom getting everyone dressed.  By 11a we were out the door to get Connor's haircut - we went much shorter because it grows SO FAST and we feel bad that the current hip do seems to be in his eyes all the time.  He was a great lil guy while daddy took M to get smoothies next door.

We were then off to the annual parktacular parade for St Louis Park.  We got great seats again this year and the kids were mesmerized by the bands, dancers and candy throwing.  Even lil Connor sat on a curb in aw for the entire 1 hour+ parade.

After the parade, we headed to the parktacular kid fun which ran at the nearby Wolfe Park from 2-6p. Maci had such a fun day and Connor rocked his first day with NO nap.  We swore he would zonk in the stroller at some point but nope!  He stayed in good spirits for no nap too.

After we got home around 400p, Clint and I started getting cleaned up for our June date night.  We headed out with the Brubacher's again but made it home around 11p.  We think Maci may have a spider bite so we were staying in touch with the babysitter.  We also couldn't get too crazy because I had the kids alone all morning and Clint had an early tee time.  It was great to catch up with them!

Sunday - Clint headed out before we all got up for his tee time with John, Trip and Lori.  I kept the kids some what behaved but I am extremely thankful he got home around 2p so that I had extra hands.  We are now running out for some late lunch and will figure out the rest of our day after we get all of us off being hungry!  I wish my dad, Clint and all the other amazing fathers out there a happy day!  I hope they all get honored by those that love and appreciate them for all they do!
