Weekly Round Up
Monday - A 2nd quote for the refinishing of the hard wood floors was supposed to occur but this is the 2nd time this guy has gone MIA so we landed on the first guys and hope they are able to do over 3 days in mid-May.Tuesday - Clint had his first softball game. While they got run ruled - guess they have won the league in the past so hoping this isn't a sign for the season ahead - he had a lot of fun. We look forward to joining him for a few games at the park but too big of a rush for this week.
This Guy!
So Cute and Naughty. He is playing with a rock he snuck in from the playground HA-HA!
Wednesday - M had dance pictures after school/work. She was so excited to show her classmates her outfit and makeup after I got her ready in the daycare bathroom. While this night is so overwhelming with kids and makeup and costumes everywhere, it is always so fun to see M and her little friends in their element.
Tap Number - Muppets Song
Maci, Lila, Juliet - Buddies
The Whole Class Ready for Photos
Jazz Number - Madonna Song
Thursday - Clint did Happy Hour with our pal Danny and I took the kids to Oak Eatery - a restaurant right in our hood. We enjoyed your yummy dinner and daddy had some laughs with Danny. A nice evening all around.Friday - Final of the 3 Fridays Off Together. Clint is taking the rest of the month of May but I need to work the next 2. We will both be off again on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. It has been so nice to have this day each week to get house projects complete without kiddos running around. This Friday's activity was furniture delivery from Macy's and Lawn Mower delivery from Home Depot. We also started the weekly maintenance plan on the hot tub and started the sprinkler system for the first time this year. Oh and we enjoyed Mexican food and margaritas on a lunch time patio since we will have kids with us on the actual Cinco De Mayo :)

Do not pay attention to the chandelier in the dining room - it will be replaced as soon as we line up our electrician
Office Chair Arrived a week or so ago and never shared
Clint's new toy - guy asked if it was an early mother's day gift....umm no try father's day!
We ended the day with some pizza on the deck and hot tub dip/cocktails for the adults.Saturday - No dance b/c of picture week. Instead we tried out the awesome 40+ year old breakfast joint up the road, Countryside Cafe. It was yummy and so quaint with a max occupancy of 50 and a line out the door :) We ran oodles of errands and kiddos swam in the hot tub for the first time & M started to learn to ride her bike sans training wheels - she really wants to be like Ty (8) and Cole (5) from next door. I think hearing Cole was 5 and riding without training wheels is really what got to her. I like the competitive streak inside of her. That girl is something fierce!

Hot Tub Fun!
M wrapped up her day by playing in Cole and Ty's swing set but then a spring thunderstorm rolled in around dinner. We ate our food inside and after baths had family movie night on the new sofa. The kids picked Woody Wood Pecker and it was pretty cute. M really liked it and C ate popcorn. HA! After they went to bed, we watched a Chapelle special and I fell asleep on the couch half way through. What a GORGEOUS almost HOT long day with the family!Sunday - We started the morning watching birds eat in the feeders we put out back yesterday. Then M got right back to bike riding and playing outside - these kids sure love to play outside and I don't mind at all with this amazing weather we are having.

Fertilizing the Yard
We had a yummy breakfast at home and now dad is painting more trim and I am getting things done around the house. We plan to run a few errands in a bit, Clint to organize the 3rd garage stall with kids and yard stuff and get my toes done with M as an early birthday treat to myself. I have to do some work a little later too but at least we have some fun mixed in on this beautiful day!Lots of fun stuff ahead this week with my big 35, birthday dinner tomorrow night, M finds out her soccer schedule (Clint is assistant coaching - more to come on that in a future blog HA) and more nice weather in a house that is starting to feel more and more like home!!
We wish you all a great week ahead!
Lots of Love,
C, K, M & C
