Memorial Day Weekend!!

Wonderful way to end last weekend!  Connor loving his new motorcycle and a gorgeous view from the lake in our neighborhood.

Monday - Lunch out for our co-worker Aline's going away.  What a wonderful crew for lunch!

Miss Kim made a surprise visit and helped Maci work on some site words.  I am so grateful for her school for taking this picture of two very special people and their special bond!

Maci had soccer practice and continued to enjoy it.  I need to take more pictures.  I either spend my time chasing Connor or taking videos which don't load too easy on this site.

Tuesday - Clint skipped softball because he had the general counsel's retirement party.  While he did that I headed to Maci's conference at school.  So crazy that I no longer had to sign forms and they gave me her entire folder.  How is it only a few days until preschool graduation and only a few months until kindergarten?

Wednesday - First Soccer Game!  Maci did great and scored 2 goals!  Her team won like 44-2 HA!  They actually don't keep score but if they had I imagine it was something like that.  This age group is 4-5 year olds and the other team had to be all 4 year olds which made a huge difference.  Our team is about 50/50 and the 5 year olds own that field.  Thankfully Maci continues to enjoy it and is a good sport with a good amount of passing.

Thursday - Last day of work for the week!!!  Had a night Asia call and started to work on our weekend to do list.

Friday - Ladies day!!!  We took the kiddos to school and Clint met up with our contractor while I headed out to meet Jacey.  We planned a ladies day which included massages at 1045a, followed by lunch on a rooftop at Stella's Fish Cafe and then pedicures at a nail place near our house.  Jacey then checked out the new casa before heading home to get her kids.  I chatted with Clint a bit and then headed to get our crew as well.  What a lovely day with a great girlfriend!  We had a yummy pizza dinner and ended the evening with some b-ball.

Saturday - HOT Memorial Day Weekend Began!  We got a whole lot of household errands, ordering and work complete before heading to a Maple Grove pool to cool off.  The kids both were fish and we spent 3 whole hours there just trying to avoid the heat!  We later had some Mexican for dinner before crashing back at home.

Sunday - Another hot one but decided to hit up Como Zoo and Rides.  We went early in the day to avoid some of the unbearable heat.  We then did our to do list in the afternoon at home while Connor napped and M played around outside.  We ended the day with dinner at Outback and a trip to the park in our backyard.  Then Clint and I had too many drinks enjoying hot tub and Cavs/Celtics game.  Clint and I took a quick neighborhood walk at 11p to end the late night weekend fun!

Monday - Happy Memorial Day!  This was the hottest day of them all!!  At one point it cracked 100 UGH!  We spent most of our day at the Minnetonka Beach.  Once again kids loved it and Clint and I were happy to not be sweating :)  After swimming we swung by the grocery for a take and bake pizza and some other needs before getting home right as the thunderstorm rolled in at dinner time.

What an awesome Memorial Day Weekend!  We are so thankful for the fun and productive times over these past few days.  We hope you all had wonderful weekends with lots of fun and memories!  M has her dress rehearsal this week as well as her 2nd soccer game and recital over the weekend.  Get ready for lots of cutie pictures!
