Monday - Happy 33rd Birthday Ms Meghan Rose! We also had a soccer game for M after work. This time it was at 715p which made for less of a rush but the parking lot was jammed with the 6p games ending and a softball game underway. As the game was about to start you heard this HORRIBLE loud car crash and many said "well that was a matter of time." Seems a pilot had a distracted driver who didn't see all the traffic stopped to turn into the park. He rear ended a convertible and then flew into the park coming to a stop when hitting a parked car. Needless to say we were all so thankful the games had just started b/c that exact spot was where tons of kids had just been walking minutes before. Unfortunately the convertible held grandparents for a a girl on our team who were coming to watch her play. The grandmother had been knocked out and the grandfather was complaining of back pain. As of late this week we heard the grandfather was released but grandmother was still in the hospital - crazy how things can happen in an instant! We gave extra big hugs to our kiddos that night.
Camp Smile Visited
Tuesday - This one is officially on her way to Kindergarten! Miss M had her big graduation Tuesday evening and Miss Kim gave a speech followed by the announcement of their names. She talked about how hard it is to say goodbye to these kids each year and there weren't many dry eyes knowing that she carried an even heavier message this year. Man we love that woman!

Wednesday - We were supposed to have soccer practice but Clint was out of town, C was a big time sad man with way too many tears and I was exhausted so we said screw it! Instead I got some end of year performance feedback done and got Connor to bed early.

Thursday - Clint got home from Iowa! Not too much else went on :)
Friday - In the morning we took some final photos with the crib as Clint was working from home to help with the delivery and set up of Connor's new big boy bed - bunk beds!!

Saturday - Started the day by having brunch with the Cassem's at Pub 819.

We ran some errands and got some house projects rolling before we headed off for our monthly date night. We went to 6smith for a yummy steak dinner and then headed to Birch's to meet up with Sarah and John (former neighbors with the twins) for some cocktails. Those turned into a few too many cocktails which made for a rough morning on this front.
Sunday - I had a SLOW start to the day and Clint took M to her play date at 11a at her buddy from school, Isla's house. Thankfully we were down one kid and Connor took a good nap so I was able to get myself moving and ended up having a fairly productive day. We now have our kitchen cabinet and banister guy planned as well as a painter for the rest of the trim/woodwork. PROGRESS!

Wrapping up the evening finishing dinner, about to let our butterflies free and then hitting some work - way too much going on and lots of upcoming deadlines Eek!
