Big Soccer Game & The Dance Recital!

Tuesday - Everyone in our household was exhausted from a fun long weekend!  I got this picture text to me by Clint.  This was the view in his car on the drive to school and work.

M and I headed right to Chanhassen high school after school and work for her dress rehearsal.  She was so stinking cute and thanks to the rain we didn't have to rush home for dad's softball.  However, we forgot umbrellas and so we were drenched when we finally left to head home :(  M did NOT like getting caught in the rain!

We also had to get home and wish Grandpa a late in the day happy birthday and Grandpa/Grandma a Happy Anniversary!

Wednesday - Another big day for M as she had her 2nd soccer game.  She was even more aggressive in this game which Clint keeps talking about how proud he is of her and her instinct to get after the ball.  She had 4 goals and rocked it out there!!

Thursday - This short week is rolling right along.  It was a gorgeous day and the kids ran up to dad as soon as we got home begging to get on the lawn mower.

Friday - The start of a somewhat chilly weekend.  M played with buddies at school and Connor man pooped on the potty at school for the first time!!  We headed to Target after school/work to let him pick out his big boy underwear, no turning back now!

Saturday - Lazy day with no real plans means movies, naps and more painting!  Clint got most of the living room mantle and trim painted - looking great but taking us forever!  We are pondering bidding out all the remaining painting or we may not be done for 5 years haha!

Dance Pictures Came in the Mail 

Sunday - Got a painter to come assess in order to give us a quote.  Ran some errands including boy haircuts and then got ready for the main event - 2018 dance recital!  M loved every single minute, we beamed with pride and C man got to hang with Miss Alaina at home :)

After the recital, we relieved the sitter and headed out for dinner as a celebratory family meal.  Now the kids are settling down for the night, Clint is watching the Cavs and doing more painting and I am about to do some work prep.  M continues with a big week ahead!  She has her pre-school graduation on Tuesday night.  Miss Kim will be there and I hear there is a song so I will be packing lots of tissues!!!
