Mondells in Minneapolis: Happy Father's Day!!

Sunday ended with a big bang - while I was getting some work done the kids found a mini turtle. Maci was really hoping to have a new pet but once we learned they could carry salmonella, Maci was a big girl and decided to let him free at the lake. You can see she was quite proud of this turtle!

Monday - M was supposed to have a soccer game but we got rained out.

Tuesday - I had a long day of work and a lot of work to do in the evening. Clint had a late night softball game 915p. The kids had a bit more fun with a bounce house at school :)

Wednesday - Another nice day! I had more work to do in the evening and Connor was a bit whiny. Therefore, Clint took M to her soccer practice alone and I kept C man entertained until they could get home and head to bed.

Thursday -

This Girl Loves Art!

Friday - I worked from home while Clint took the kiddos in. I ran Boomer to a local kennel as we are hoping to board him there next weekend but they need to have a trial "play date" to ensure he isn't crazy. I then had a dermatologist apt in the late afternoon. It was nice to have a quiet day at home b/c I got a lot of work done which was much needed! Good news on the Dr apt front - all my moles/freckles were checked and none of them look worrisome - darn fair skin! That night I brought home white castle, we talked to the neighbors, I did a little more work and then paid bills etc before hitting the hot tub with a cocktail and Clint :)

Water Day @ New Horizon!

Saturday - After selling our crib (tear!), we were hoping to head to St Louis Park's Parktacular parade and kid day. Unfortunately the rain just wasn't letting up to allow for a fun day outside. Instead we ate lunch at Bunny's in SLP and then headed to Target for groceries. We did afternoon naps and by the time we were all up and moving again it was somewhat nice out. The kids went next door as they blew up a huge water slide and water guns. Such a muggy Saturday! We wrapped up the day by randomly stumbling upon the Hennepin Country Fair with free bounce houses and bad for you food :) The kids kept saying it was best day ever - nice dancing in the moment by mom & dad.

Fair Fun!

Sunday - Happy Father's Day! We headed to Countryside Cafe for Breakfast with our #1 guy! We followed it by picking out paint for the office (going with Norwegian Blue which is a gray with a blue undertone and significantly darker than the rest of the main floor light gray walls. Fingers crossed it turns out well! We then did a ton of yard work in this horrendous humidity. Clint is now off running a few more errands for us while the kiddos nap. We decided to have a quiet dinner at home tonight after the kiddos go down for the night. I will likely do a bit of work prep for the week (this time of year!) and then maybe end the night with a cocktail and hot tub dip (it sure helps you relax and sleep) - so nice!
