Monday - Clint headed to Nashville early in the morning for work while the kids and I attempted to shake off the weekend sleepiness. The rainy weather did not help that cause! Maci was also a bummed out kiddo when she wasn't able to have a soccer game that night.
Tuesday - Was supposed to be the kids water day but even more rain and chillier temps prevented that :( I had a night call with Asia and when I hung up at 1030p I realized my shadow (Maci) was still up with me - that kid was dragging Wednesday morning!
Wednesday - Finally nice weather which meant the firetruck visited school & Maci got to have a soccer game at night. She scored 2 goals and played some killer defense - really did a good job chasing down the other team.
Thursday - Clint got home after dinner Wednesday night - Yay! So now it was the last day of school and work for the week. Both Clint and I had busy days while the kids finally got to have their missed water day from earlier in the week. Look at this goof!
Friday - 1st Stay Home Day!! We did some errands and packing in the morning as well as a Boomer drop off at the kennel and liquor store run before heading to the cabin around 1230p. We arrived around 3p and the kids immediately started to run around and have a blast!

Once everyone was there around 330p we stopped chatting and took the kids to the local beach. They are all such fish!

From the beach we went to Zorbaz for some yummy pizza dinner and kid mayhem.
The kids came back for some more running around and being crazy before they had a movie/slumber party in the basement while the adults enjoyed beverages by the fire. It was a semi early night for all of us 1030p but so many adults were beat from the earlier week and drive up with a car of crazy kiddos.
Saturday - We had our yummy breakfast thanks to the Fike's and then prepared for our boat rental. We had a 27 foot pontoon from 10-2. The kids loved it and the adults may have liked it just as much. Such a gorgeous day to putz around on the lake and get some swimming in.
After boating many adults wanted some shut eye but the kids weren't game for that. I got some caffeine and opened a beauty shop for the kids HA. I painted nails and colored hair - so glad I remembered to bring this stuff. They were all so chill waiting their turn for pampering.

We headed to moonlight bay for dinner. Kids were pretty good since there was a game area and the food was yummy!
We headed back to early bedtime/movie/slumber party for the kiddos and the adults got their drinks ready for a night of Cards Against Humanity. There were lots of laughs and around 11p we were done with the game and headed out for a night cap cocktail by the fire. What a fun trip with great friends!
Sunday - We woke up and started the pack up/clean up ASAP. By 10a we were all on the road. We got Boomer right when we pulled into town and then started cleaning the house, running laundry, taking naps etc. Clint it about to run and get us some take out dinner. I am preparing for the week ahead with Clint heading out of town again tomorrow. These weekends always go way too fast but what a fun memory it will be :)
